Hello, Georgia Hammerheads!

Ok, Georgia Hammerheads did a great job Street Teaming the Atlanta Concert on 2/22!

Now, we need to look at ways we can continue to Spread the LOVE until Lh come back to town.

If you are able to Street Team in Georgia in any way, sign up here.

Tell us who you are and where you are. (You don't have to get specific with the location. A general answer like "Atlanta area" or "Northeast Georgia" etc. is fine. :wink: )

Tell us what you can do. Some questions you might answer:

I put this in the flyers and stores promo section, but I thought I'd copy it here because this is what I've been thinking about asking you all if you wanted to do for GA.

Guys, I have an idea that might work better than the CD shuffle, but you'll have to tell me what you think.

Take one of the copies you have bought to best buy or whatever the music store is and get them to play it over the loud speaker.

I figure if we get the employees playing it, then the people in the store are going to hear it and maybe start asking about it. But the employees at the stores have to like it and want to play it for this to happen, am I wrong? I mean, I know they'll at least play it while you are in the store, so that would be good while you are passing out flyers, but if the store employees like it, they might just keep playing it when you are gone.

I was going to burn some CD's and do this, but my computer will NOT recognize my CD burner! (if anyone knows how to fix this tell me. I think I deleted the CD creater) in any event, I figured I'd bounce my idea off you guys while I am working on that and I'll probably just go and buy some CD's too, like you have, for the "promo" purpose.

I figured this could work at clubs and bars, too.

As a matter of fact, I wanted to see if the Atlanta Street team wanted to choose a bar or club that we would all go together like once or twice a month, for a Hammerfied night and force the DJ to play for us every time we are there.

THEN

If that club does live shows, I think we ought to start pressuring them to invite LH to perform. All cities can do this. What do you guys think? Any club/venue suggestions?

Remember to get your CD's tagged at the door so you don't get accused of anything.

I think it is a good idea but I am not that available. Hubby works nights and I have the kid and all. I will tell you this though, I got a PM from crazy4marty from the LH board about getting together UGA on the 25th to street team there. Maybe you could contact her with your idea to make it happen.

The ST meet up for UGA is set for Saturday, March 25th!

Crazy4Marty (aka Heather) is organizing this. If you can help ST UGA, then let Heather know. You can head over to the Lh board and PM her.

I can't be there to help that day, but I'm sending Heather some ST stuff. If you would like to help but can't be there either, you can send her some ST materials too.

UGA's a pretty big campus, so if you can help please let us know.

I've been thinking about a radio campaign. Does anyone have any ideas for one? I think we should target 99X and Bulldog103. 99X plays a lot of different kinds of rock lately. It's not just hard core grunge or alternative.
