Ms. Kanno is a maestro of Japanese music who, among other projects, agreed in 2005 to compose 90 songs for Ragnarok Online 2.
Do you know Gil Scott Heron?

To answer Dawn's question - Yes. Ms. Kanno is the composer of the soundtrack for numerous Anime series including "Wolf's Rain" in which the character of Cheza is a prominent part. She also composed the soundtrack for "Cowboy Bebop". It is said that the character of Edward (a girl...you just have to see it to understand) is based somewhat on Kanno's nature/personality. Ms. Kanno is a maestro of Japanese music who, among other projects, agreed in 2005 to compose 90 songs for Ragnarok Online 2. Do you know Gil Scott Heron? That name is familiar...let me think...

O.K. I think this thread is educational as well as fun. Sooooooooooo to get things moving Gil Scott Heron is a musical genius, poet and author. Often referred to as the grandfather of rap music and spoken word. His peak career time was in the middle '70's. Ohhhhhhhh those old people. Check him out on youtube - "I Think I'll Call It Morning" is good.

Many have dubbed Johnson the father of modern rock and roll. Of all early bluesmen, Robert Johnson can be considered one of the more prolific. Although he did not live long enough to become as popular as many of the other earlier blues artists, his music has influenced a number of musicians who dramatically changed music history
