I have four boys who all enjoy the Lovehammers' music. One of my 4 year old twins is the biggst fan - he is always asking to listen to them in the car (that's my boy!). He loves Straight as an Arrow, Hold On and Trees. My hubby and I just about died the first time we heard him singing the lines to Straight as an Arrow. They all start dancing around in a mad frenzy when the music is on in the house.

ahh well, heck yeah there are little hammerheads in my house! My baby girl, Micayla, is 2 and she loves "Tress" and "give it up" her favorite part of Give it Up is when he sings "I'm Melting" really high and she LOVES it!! My son Garrett is 4 and he loves pretty much what mommy loves which is all of the songs. He sings along to everything, but his favorite is "Eyes can't see". It is so adorable. I have it on tape as well.

This is soooo cool! It's nice to know that I'm not the only one out there with a little hammerhead running around the house! Keep the stories coming!!! It's too funny and just adorable!!!

I have a four year old boy, that could not live without the Lovehammers. He wants them playing in the vehicle and at home all of the time. I don't mind of course. Santa brought him a drum kit for Christmas, and he's not that bad. He tries to play along with all the songs. My daughter is five, she knows most of the words to all the songs (I have three of their CDs) except in Call of Distress when Marty says "Mayday", both kids say mayonaise. Its priceless. I have corrected them numerous times, but it hasn't worked yet! We have all of the RS:INXS shows on tape, so when Dad goes to work on the weekends we spend quite a few hours watching Marty. Their favorite song is Marty's last song "Don't Change", because he is soooooo good, and my son likes the green flashing lights. And...I hate to admit it but, they also love INXS. Hehehe, I love the part about the mayonaise! Soo cute ;D

I have caught my 3 year old son (Riley) dancing to the hammers a few times. I am converting him. Big change going from the Wiggles to Lovehammers but he is adjusting!

I have 4 1/2 year old and 8 yr old HH jr's. My 4 1/2 yr old daughter just loves Marty, and likes to sing Trees while playing her blue guitar! My 8 yr old son likes "Lets get Wasted" but hasn't quite got the "lets get wasted" bit yet and I won't be obliging him either, he sings "lets not waste time" twice!
My daughter also loves the "Fish bowl" song, WYWH, and gets really into it everytime we have it on, my brother and brother-in-law have the PF version of it on their cd of all time favourites and she (like me) tells them that Marty's version is the best!!

Hee hee, the "fish bowl" song. My youngest asks for the "one where he thinks he's not special" (Lithium) on the RS:INXS DVD.
What have we done to our kids .... hee hee

MY son Peyton will be 7 on Feb 20th. For the past 2 years or so he decided that he wanted to work at Chucky Cheese when he grew up. Pretty cool job from a child's point of view...lol. The last week in Jan., we were in the car listening to LH. He is obsessed with casualty. He asked me how Marty screamed like that. i responded by telling him that it took lots of practice. He sat back, pondered, and said "I want to be a singer when I grow up. But I want to sing like that!". Tears came to my eyes, lol.

OHG! I am a proud mother of a hammerhead. My daughter is playing a new game --- Marty sings! She plays her "guitar" (empty 2L pop bottle) and sings Trees, Eyes Can't See, and Clinic. Then she says, "But I can't smash my guitar be that's bad. Marty shouldn't have smashed his guitar. That was rude". The mom side of me (that doesn't want to raise a juvenile delinquent), says, "That's right. Marty shouldn't have smashed his guitar. That wasn't very nice". But the Hammerhead in me says, "Oh hell yeah!!! Smash away Marty!" I am sooo proud to be her mother!

My 14 year old daughter LOVES Lovehammers. At first she just liked trees, but now we rock out to all the tunes together, and she took the CD with her on her sleepover last weekend! I know she's hooked~ I just love how all these kids GET Marty and the Lovehammers. Kids know genuine people when they meet them, and good souls too. The next generation of Rockers is born!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have twin 5 year old hammerheads. Every time I put on the cd in the car my daughter says " Mommy, thats Marty!" I showed my 10 year old the picture I got with Marty after the Vegas show, and she said " If anything happens to Daddy, Can he be our step-daddy." I wish!!!

I've always said that if my husband were to kick the bucket tomorrow, I'd never get married again b/c it's too much BS to deal with. But for Marty, I would definitely make an exception

my 13 year old has turned into a junior street teamer and is sharing the CD with friends at school. My 9 year old won't admit to being a hammerhead but all I have to do is say, "I don't wanna go thru..." and he starts singing the whole of Trees. And don't get them started on Clouds. The shoop shoop song is always a singalong here. My 5 year old nephew loves Marty cause he thinks MC is the same "marty" from "Back to the Future". "Marty sings this? Cool!"

My 2 year old neice will sing the chorus to Trees. At first I had no idea what she was saying, but it took me a while and I figured out she was singing "up in the trees" over and over again. She now knows the chorus and gets excited when I put Trees on in the car.

Thats it!! Spread the love to the youngins. They are our Lovehammer future. When my 5yr old grandson is asked "who is Mimi's favorite rock star" he puts his arms straight up in the air and yells "Marty Casey!!" Ah yeah, thats my boy

I tried to keep my Marty/LH obsession from my husband (don't want him to get too jealous) so I usually just listen to my LH cd when I am driving around. Lately my daugher (8) will listen along with me.
Last week, the 3 of us got the van to go out and my daughter hollers out from the back "Hey Mommy, can we listen to Marty Casey?"
I guess I am busted - my obsession has been revealed!

My 3 year old thrilled me the other day! He was riding in the car with his daddy (who refuses to admit he is a fan of LH) and just out of the blue my son asked to hear the Trees song. I tell ya, when my hubby called to tell me this, it brought tears to my eyes I was so proud!

He has a form of Autism.. called hyperlexia.. anyway.. when its real quiet in the house.. if you listen.. you can hear that little man.. singing trees.. its the most beautiful sound in the world. He also knows the songs.. casualty.. and The Riddle... and sings them.. even when the CD is not on.. So.. cute.. Its great..that their music touches us all.. from the young.. to the young at heart..

Wanted to add my mommy post to this board... didn't see it on when I wrote before (loved to read the previous stories posted).. >> Isn't it funny that 3 years ago, if I had seen LH in concert I think I would've been crazy traveling all over the US to see them again and again spending all kinds of money to do it. But now that I have 20 month old Twins, I just feel like giving Marty & gang some soft blankets for the bus and a good lasagna to eat! Mind you, Marty, gang and I are all the SAME age (and I have TWO more tattoos than Marty has) so I still rock out everyday, I just have two little ones rocking along with me now...
