I didn't plant any veggies and now wish I had, especially with the salmonella tomato scare.
My Mom loved gardening - more flowers than veggies. She loved getting out there, digging in the dirt, and tending to her plants, shrubs, and flowers. I wish I inherited her green thumb! However, I did inherit her love for nature and am having loads of enjoyment from the little bird sanctuary I've built in the backyard. I even have a birdbath with a mister.
