Hey girl! I was at the Houston show too!! I commented on the other thread about the ceiling being so low, and how my heart beat faster in fear of Marty's head everytime he jumped. I thought it was pretty funny when he tried to sing with two mics because the sound was messed up. You got a great pic, all we had was our phone pic we took, but I was happy, better than nothing! I thought I was going to die when he came out after the show. I've never hurdled anything before, but if there had been anything in my way to him, I would have beat olympic records jumping it! He was so sweet. Not big headed at all. Maybe I'll see you at rock the bayou Nicole

Thanks everyone! Nicole, Did you and I meet? I know I lent a sharpie to one girl and was chatting with some others about shoes while Marty was chatting with someone else. During the concert, I was up front, middle of the stage, where were you? Yep, Marty is a great! And Yes, I'll be at Rock the Bayou, Just for Marty Casey and LAG! Hope to keep seeing you around these parts here!

Rachael, I don't think we met. But we had to have seen each other because I was right in the middle up front to. Only one person was in front of me between me and the stage. I'm 5'11, long dark brown hair and had a black and white tank top on. My husband was with me behind me during the show. Soon as my hubby shows me how I'll put the picture of me and Marty up so you can see if you saw me. It was so cool to be so close to Marty during the show. When he leaned into the crowd he was right over me. I kept thinking his sweat was going to drip on me anytime [/IMG] I hope to make it to rock the bayou, got to get a babysitter first. So, do you think you saw me? - Nicole

Rachael, I'm trying to remember everyone around me but I don't remember anyone in a red shirt. I have to say I was a bit distracted though [/IMG] You know out of all the celebreties to meet, Marty's always the one I hoped for. So when he came out on stage[ first of all, I have to say my excitement upon entering the Meridian and seeing how small it was and how close I'd be to my star, was like 50 christmases all wrapped up in one} anyway, as I was saying when he came out on stage my eyes NEVER left him! Talk about eurphoria!! I don't do drugs but I was diffently flying high! [/IMG] I don't think I'll get that close to him again. Even if I can make it to rock the bayou, they'll be alot more people. Nicole ... Oh, and I get the whole plant yourself in one spot thing. I had someone beside me that kept trying to push me so she could get in front of me, at 5'11, I'm not easyly pushed

Too funny, not easily pushed. Trust me, I'm holding firm, when I like my spot. At the Dallas show, was pushed forward on the stage but, it was ok, cuz it was friends I knew and knew they were being pushed. At Texarkana, now that was different, being pushed flat on the stage, can't say here, what I felt like was happening, So, I had to get a little more brutal than I'm used to, that was a new experience. Lots of MC fans totally get what you are saying about the seeing him and meeting him part. I call it the Marty Casey Effect. He is an extraordinary person. I am in a state of euphoria, high, happiness still, think the 4 in a row might have something to do with the lasting effects. Rock the Bayou is going to be HUGE!!! Binoculars are definitely a must plus my tallest shoes. ~~It was Christmas in July~~

If you are the person I'm thinking of, after the guys left the stage I turned around and said "it's all yours" to someone as I was leaving the front of the stage to whoever might want it for the next band. Also planning to be at Rock the Bayou for sure!

Here is my review. Taken from my Myspace blog. Sunday, July 12th I slept most of the day, it was great! Then it was time for the next show. We picked up 2 friends from their hotel and headed for someplace to eat. The Meridian is a small place, no windpws, and very little seating. The stage was only about a foot off the ground and the ceiling hung really low over the stage. The 4 of us were checking the place out when I spotted a girl with a LH's t-shirt on. I found out she had seen Marty on Rockstar and become a LHs fan, but had never seen Marty perform live. I smiled at the thought of that feeling I had seeing Marty live the first time. sigh... But I digress. It was a great crowd, small but all about seeing the bands, but w/o all the pushing and showing. YAY! LAGs played 3rd at this show. The atsmophere was really raw, which I thought Marty wore really well. He was driving full speed and the crowd was loving him and with Traci's amazing quitar work, and Jeremy's performance of STFU, the place was ROCKIN! During Rip and Tear Marty got right in my face, letting me sing into the mike with him. Squeee! I swear I felt this pounding, I wasn't sure if it was the drums or my heart. ???LOL Following the performance Marty came out and was talking and taking pictures with the fans. We each spoke to him for a few minutes. Rachael took a picture of Marty and I together. He made some other new fans and Rachael & I got to speak to Kenny from Beautiful Creatures, he is so sweet, and very hot! Digressing again, sorry. Time to put our plan in motion. So we say our good-byes to Marty telling him what a wonderful weekend it has been. It was really hard, but way too much fun keeping our little secret. We took our friends back to their hotel and said our said good-byes.

sdbrins, That WAS me you said it's all your's too!!!! How cool to hear from you HERE!!! What a small world! Marty was fantastic hah! I know how you felt when you sang in the mic with him, because during trees he and I staired at each other and sang a whole verse together wothout breaking eye contact. I wasn't singing in the mic though, but still, eye contact for that long with Marty is as cool as it gets!!! Well, I'm glad you said hi, hopefully we can talk more! - Nicole

sdbrins, I forgot to say, how cool you got to meet Kenny. He was amazing to watch. I had never heard of them before but I'm wanting to see them in concert now. I bet they put on a great show. I loved how he was smiling through the whole song. He seemed like a nice guy! -Nicole

It is so cool to talk to you here Nicole! It is a small world. What a great time we had that night. Marty is just the best about making you feel special. His show tend to be audience participation shows. lol I remember you smiling at me after I sang in the mike with him.
We had seen Kenny the 2 previous nights in Dallas and in Boerne. Rachael spoke to him every time I think. I only spoke to him a little at the Houston show, but every time we ran into him he was smiling, a really nice guy!
Are you planning another show anytime soon? Rachael are going to Rock the Bayou to see Marty and LAG, and we heard Kenny would be there also.
