Marty Casey and L.A. Guns rocked dear old Johnson City! We had a blast at the show and will post more details as soon as we can get online for any length of time.
Our little group included: Amy, Rockfan, Sparkletay and me; we loved the show and had a great night! If you haven't had a chance to see Marty with L.A. Guns...you need to get to a show this summer. I promise you will NOT BE disappointed.

I found a torrent of this show, and it seemed like kind of a rip off that they only got to play 7 songs. I thought LAG was headlining this tour???

I would not call it a "rip-off". Each show is different every night. Some bands opening up for LA Guns/Faster Pussycats played fewer songs than that. There are 4 to 5 bands playing most nights. LA Guns played a longer set the night before so it's going to be short or long sets each night. They played enough for us. It was a great show .

dimeadozen.org has the torrent. You have to sign up if you're not already registered, which can be an ordeal because they only let so many people sign up. You may have to try a few times. The LAG performance is really not that great of quality, but I suppose if you attended the show, it might be cool to relive it.

Just a little something Rachael and I noticed was that the show we saw on Friday night LAGs did have the headliner place of last band, the festival was different because so many bands playing on multiple stages at different times, but the shows we saw on Sunday and Monday night LAGs had the 3rd or next to the last set, which worked out to be a really good thing because a lot of people left before the last band played. I'm thinking because it was a work night. But what we noticed was both nights the Guns had a bigger audience than the last band.
Thanks for the info on the site with the video jaltoff. I'm gonna work on getting to see it, reliving is good!

The show was great! I went in with no expectations - I've never heard Marty with a different band, so this would be a new experience for me. Marty was at ease and relaxed, yet energetic on stage. He was happy and full of fun & life. All of that translated into a phenomenal performance. The stage was owned by the entire band, not just Marty, and it fit together and flowed seamlessly. It looked effortless so I believe they are continuing to fine tune with each show. Marty sounded fantastic and the music was classic L.A.Guns with Trees thrown in. Here's the set list: No Mercy Electric Gypsy Sex Action Jayne Trees Never Enough Rip 'n Tear Guns was short on time because of a previous band running over, so they had to play a shorter set. I wasn't disappointed.....the band gave me a great show in only 7 songs. I was really amazed at how much happier and relaxed Marty was. The lack of stress suits him......you could see it, hear it and feel it in his performance. If you're "on the fence" about attending a show, PLEASE GO! Walk in the door with no expectations and let the band's music & performance shape your opinion. Marty won't let you down and Tracii is such a brilliant guitarist that you'll be mesmerized by the sound. Just kick back and soak it in. BTW, our drive to/from TN was so pleasant! The scenery was beautiful. We passed through Asheville, NC and enjoyed lots of gorgeous mountain views between NC and TN. Lots of great company and fun conversation - my co-pilots were Cindy and Rockfan. We didn't shaddup the entire time. ;D Just an FYI - keep an eye on our NEWS page of the website in the coming weeks. We have some secret goodies as a result of this show in the works for everyone.

This was my second LA Guns show in a row. It was very much worth all the driving I did and the lack of sleep . Amy described it very well and there isn't that much I can add to it. It was just a fun time for all and LA Guns put on another great show. It was great getting to know Amy & Cindy. We had a nice, scenic drive up there through the mountains. As said before, you MUST check out a show if it comes near you. Here's a pic I took but there are more coming.

Sometimes the best things come in small packages. Glad to hear that even though the show wasn't long it was still phenomenal.
