I was wondering when you set up before a show (sound check, etc.), do you tell the venue's lighting tech guy how you want the stage lights to be, for example, bright, dim, rapid color changes, etc.?

Tricia,
With the band that flies by the seat of their pants we never soundcheck. So, at times, I don't even know what the stage or room looks like till I step on that stage. It's like one big experiment. It's kinda like every day you wonder what's behind The Price Is Right door Number 3.
