Marty –
First, congratulations on your new adventures with LA Guns. The professional and fan reviews are all spectacular. Well deserved!!!! I look forward to seeing a live show in August and the new album next year. My Trees dog tag necklace arrived today and it is just beautiful. I just love the craftsmanship that obviously went into it. My question(s) is:
1.Were you aware that your Mom was hand writing personal messages on each packing slip? How cool is that? Please thank her for me, for her thoughtfulness.
2.Can you tell us a little how this project started and your role in the design?
3.The term collection would infer there are more pieces to come. Can you talk about what is coming and the timeframe?
And thanks for continuing to take us along for the ride with you. Love your posts, the pics, and vids. Looks like you are having the time of your life!!!!
Be Well, Liz

Hi Liz,
I recently heard that my Mom was writing hand written notes on the packing slips. She is the best. It's so fun to get to work with my Mom on a project like this. It's the first time we have ever worked together. She's really doing a stellar job. Such a professional.
A brilliant woman named Marla Zegart works in the fashion industry and approached me with an idea about creating some clothing together. She liked my style on stage and wanted to do a project. We needed to do something one size fits all because of the costs of production. We thought about different ideas and decided on doing a dogtag necklace. Then we had a fun time with design ideas and decided on TREES because we were close to Earth Day. We also wanted to get involved with a charity to help the environment.
I loved thinking of a name and Silver Elements came about after a few think tank sessions.
We have more pieces being developed for the project. The TREES dagtag has been a great success and we are proud to be planting so many trees. Marla and I are having so much fun with this and want to keep the momentum building. It just turned out to be a real positive experience!
