I'm not sure this is the topic I should put this under, but I know that this is the one that's read the most, so... He posted about 4:30 yesterday afternoon. He sounded like my dad after he caught me doing something (not very pleased) He talked about how we should be requesting Trees when calling the DJ's (Short, polite, hang up...and don't push). He also goes on about all of the smack that's been floating around the LH.com boards about how crappy Epic has been promoting them. He said that he has daily contact with Epic people and that everyone in the band is completely happy with the situation. I'm not very computer savvy, so if one of you less technologically challenged moderators or whomever can go there and attach it to this or their own reply. I think that it is information that EVERYONE needs to hear. I know that we all don't agree with the way Epic is handling the marketing, but Dino is right. So if someone who knows how to actually attach it or transfer it from LH.com PLEASE DO!! Thanks!

Dudes,

I want to first say thanks to EVERYONE who has been kicking but spreading the love about MCLH (that is the initials I just gave us - LOL). Seeing Tisha and everyone in NY and hanging a bit was really cool. I feel like we got some of the best fans/friends out there.

Ok, so now as Trees begins to get more radio play, I know everyone wants to hear it more and more. The best way to do it is just call in and say, "Can you play Trees by Marty Casey & Lovehammers" that thank them and hang up. There are usually ways to request via e-mail or the stations website as well. Remember, the BEST way to make this work is to be short, sweet, and very polite. Being too wordy or agressive just upsets the DJs - they really don't have any control what is played. Just ask for it, thank them and hang up - that way you can make more calls anyway! KIll them with kindness dudes....

I also heard that people were writing negative stuff about the label and management on here. We are very happy with both, and don't really want that stuff on here. This is a very unique situation, and everyone is trying to figure out how to make this work. We know you guys are just trying to watch our backs, but I work with the Epic people daily, and they have been nothing but great to us - I hate to put limits on these boards, but I won't have that on here dudes, cause that isn't cool, and we dont' feel that way. So keep sending naked pics and doing anything else you want, but lets keep these boards positive. We are in a great position and we want everyone to be happy and help each other - band, label, management, fans, street teams, etc. Together, NOBODY can stop us, but once people start pulling away or causing negativity it affects all other parts of the team.

Ok, my lecture is now over. Just be smart about this dudes. Don't ever give up, don't stop requesting, actually pick it up, BUT be positive!!!!

I think Dino is right, too. At MC.org, we don't complain as much as they do at LH.com about this subject, but we do, and I am guilty of it as well. We need to be a positive force out there for the guys. The LH, the DJ's, the record execs all feel our vibes. If there are any negative vibes out there, it reflects bad on us as fans and on our guys. I have to give a shout out to Stilleto for putting things into perspective for me. I was reading some of the old postings and people were complaining about Epic and promotion, and such. He said to remember that it took U2 (my favoritest band before I heard LH) a long time (5 major label releases and 7 years of grueling touring and promotion) before that magical moment called "The Joshua Tree" came, and look at them now. He reminded me of that, and it gave me a sense of peace and calm about the whole thing. So we as fans need to stay faithful to the vision, and not be a bad reflection on the guys.

Exactly, miteacher! I've only heard good things about McGhee (management). I've heard that they will really go to bat for their artists. We need to give them a chance. All of us -- Lh, fans, McGhee, & Epic -- are on the same team. We all have the same goal: Lovehammer World Domination! LOL We want the whole world to see what a great band Lh is and to see how great the guys themselves are. But, it's not going to happen overnight. It's going to take a lot of work, from Lh and from us, the fans. But we can do it!

We need to keep positive. If you're feeling a little down or disappointed, come check out the board. Just reading about someone getting "Trees" played for a Valentines dedication made my day! I've yet to hear "Trees" on a local station, but I LOVE hearing about it getting played on other stations.

Thanks to all for posting this here--and thanks to Dino for the heads up and on pulling us all together!!! Now--on to the MCLH World Domination part!!!...please request and vote in polls all we can!!!

What Dino says makes a lot of sense about DJ contacts etc. --...."KIll them with kindness dudes".... Yes It Do!!! The positive energy we fans generate by doing as Dino says will mulitply exponentially and the LH dreams will come true more than they ever dreamed!!!

Might I add, let's enjoy the where we all are on this wildride journey and that LH continue to be able to Meet and Greet for many fans (I am still hoping... as line shut down by security before I got up there at Aragon M&G...)--I am sure they will do their best ---great guys that they have been but they gotta sleep some time !!
