In all my years of reading, I must say that I have NEVER encountered the comparison of the appearance of abused feet to a concubine! ;D He gets 100 points for the most original metaphor I've ever encountered.

Very, very funny! I think his best blogs are those that have something really funny in it that everybody can relate to. I mean, who hasn't been in a situation where you're fumbling around for money or a ticket and you can just FEEL the eyes and looks of irritation focusing on you.
Sounds like he is need of some stuff. A backpack, bigger shoes, candy, ibuprofen.....

Yeah a backpack would rock! haha I never pictured Marty as the
self-conscious type, but he seemed like the "rest of us" with the whole
fumbling for bus fare drama! I bet if he asked he could have found some
East coast fans to act as tour guides haha.

What a hoot! I know exactly where that Tick Tock diner is too, having lived in Jersey about 2 moves ago...we warned Marty when we saw him in Zanesville, that as he approaches that magical 35th birthday, things are gonna start aching a little more than they used to...and it sounds like he is doing the rockstar equivalent of footbinding!
