Ouch... poor Marty It's good to hear that he is alright. Head injuries suck... I had a concussion when I flew out to Chicago for Thanksgiving.
Here is to a quick recovery and safe travels to Mr. Casey!

Holy crap! I've been out of the loop for a few days and look what happens! I have a mold of a chocolate valium pill I'd be willing to share...
and I'm not worried about scars. Harrison Ford wore them well in his day...and so will Marty if he winds up with one. We need to send him Candy and Mederma!

LOL on the Mederma comment. But it won't be necessary. This gash is on his scalp above his left ear so will be covered up by hair. You probably won't even be able to see the staples, unless you look closely.

OH MY GOOD LORD !! I am so glad he's ok . I have been away for a week and come home to this . My heart was in my throat when I read this , and then I had to see that picture . Poor Marty . I am glad that Tracii went to the hospital and stayed with him . 5 staples .... ouch ! On the humourous side , he now has a new nick-name : metal head . Lol !

I am so happy that he is ok. God bless him. I did not like the picture... I had a very strong reaction when I saw it. I'm really glad he is well. It must have been awful to find himself bleeding like that while on a show and in an unfamiliar place full of strangers |

i saw the staples and the cut isnt very long but head wounds always bleed alot. he didnt let the staples stop him from giving us a great show at cardos!

Ok, here it is---a picture of Marty's injury! The cut is about an inch long with 5 silver (surgical steel I guess) staples. It's located on the back, left side of his head closer to the top than to his left ear. He moved his hair back with his fingers so I could get a better shot and as I stood over him (he was sitting in a chair) I said "Marty, it looks like your head has braces!" Silly I know, but he smiled just the same. Like Cindy said, his hair covers it so you can't really see it. He said it still hurts. I think he meant the staples. He said he was told to get them removed in about 10 days but I am not sure if he meant since the accident or from the day we spoke about it (Monday 8/11).  |
