so i guess marty is catching a few days with friends and family before the next leg of the tour. what are you doing??

This weekend I have spent as much time with my son as possible, and working whenever I have a chance... taking the all important milk and cookie breaks when needed

Today, I have to go finish buying my son some new shoes for school... maybe another few uniform shirts (since they are going with white shirts for kindergarden), and a smaller backpack. I think I bought his too big... he looks like a little turtle with a way too huge shell on his back...LOL

Alright... I finished school shopping. Let me say that school shopping at the last minute was a bad idea... it was just like Christmas, but with parents battling for pants, shirts., backpacks, and pencils.. not toys. Scary I tell you... I may have nightmares for weeks to come...LOL

But, I have to admit I did have fun and it was well worth it. My son means the world to me, and I am excited that he is old enough to start school now (and a little sad). Honestly, five years went by way too fast...

Ah! School shopping! My daughter is now entering 8th grade!! You say 5 years went by quickly- that is how i feel about the last 13!!
I can't believe only 4 more years after this one. Holy CRAP!
I do remember the first day of kindergarden though- and it was such a neat feeling. Proud, sad, excited,worried all rolled into one moment.

as far as this weekend went- everyone got together for my husbands 50th bdqy party. We had a great time. A couple local musicians we here so they jammed for a little bit. 2 had just met. It was really fun.

Yesterday was HBO day on the couch!
Ever see Brothers McMullen,Coupe de Ville, or FUR: an imaginary protrait of Diane Arbus? those were good.
(i was not kidding about movie day!!) That is one good thing about a rebellious teen- they stay in there room a lot. LOL Just kidding. She was at a friends. LOL
