Hey Marty, Hope the Texans treated you right this weekend...I can't imagine we didn't...it's in our blood Appears to be in yours as well, you seem like a reallly genuine guy. As you may recall, I'm a fellow thirty-something - and a writer to boot. I noticed you're a blogger. I'm with you on that as well (www.theanomalouslife.com - check it out if you enjoy reading 30-something random musings). So, my question (and something I grapple with as well): how do you balance the openness of blogging with the need for privacy? I feel sometimes I err on the side of privacy, but it keeps me from telling some of my greatest (blunders, mainly)...funny stuff, usually. Safe travels. Take care.

I had an amazing time in TEXAS. It was literally 111 degrees on stage when we were performing. There were a few moments where I absolutely felt like passing out. I kneeled down on the stage and just kinda let my head hang for a few seconds and got myself together. Jeremy actually puked when we were walking back to the bus after the show. Really intense heat!
I think that you have to be willing to sacrifice a bit of your privacy if you wanna effectively blog. You gotta let people into your mind or your daily life in order for them to understand your story. In some ways you came remain faceless and blog or even blog under an alias unless you want you friends and family to actually read your stories and know it's you.
Most people have an amazing amount of respect and enjoy the blogs and take them for what they are. There are also times that people might wanna start digging to deep. It easy to draw a line most of the time so just spread your wings and go for it.
If you are willing to put it out the then I congradulate you for being BOLD!!!
Marty
