Lovehammers NEW CD

That's true, they played gigs that way, usually at parties for Marty on Rockstar. But they never produced an album with another singer.

I agree, there have been questions about who the singer is, but it seems that just putting a regular banner up on Marty's site, advertising the album, would answer those questions.

Maybe it's just the way it's worded - "featuring Marty Casey as Lead Singer" - but to me it makes it sound like he's making a guest appearance with the band.

Well, the banner might be overstating it a little but then some people need to have things spelt out for them.

I hope everyone who ordered their pre-sale CD got the first "extra" that Dino, Marty, Billy and Bobby sent out at the beginning of December via email.

Well, Dino has announced that the pre-sale will be ending soon.

He also announced that more "extras" will be sent out, including a recording of the first song they played live on the radio, Confusion. Check out his post here:

Got my emailed extra today and it was hilarious when the DJ mistakenly called them the "Swinging Lovehandles" a completely different image than Swinging Lovehammers.

Its really neat to be able to hear these older recordings, since I was in college in Mississippi in 1998 when they were making there way. Nancy, what you say about how much they've grown and how much stronger Marty's voice has become is so apparent. I've actually been listening to the old albums and Rockstar INXS performances and can really hear the difference. While some of it is definitely the voice and music, it seems like Marty has really vested more and more of himself in the music and taken ownership and it appears that adds a lot to the confidence of the performance.
BTW, I really hope Silent Sunshine is on the new album, one of my favorite LH songs! Anyone ever hear that live?

I don't know how many people received the Lovehammers News letter from Dino, but he stated that the CD will be shipped out to all the pre orders this week (signed as promised), along with all the other stuff he offered in the pre sale! So it looks like we all will be getting our CD's before the store release date!!!

I am looking forward to it!! Actually thrilled beyond belief!!!
