Rachel - I dropped a none-so-subtle hint last night about the star ring - can you tell me what the dimension is? Our sizes are letters not numbers and I have fat fingers, so don't know if the ring will fit. If you could help me out that would be great [/IMG]
Dawn, if you're still looking for info on the size of the ring, I just got mine out and measured it. It's a size 8, and the opening measures exactly 3/4 inch. (Sorry, I couldn't turn up a metric ruler at the moment.) The ring does go inward in the middle of the band. I measured that indentation on the outside of the ring, and it's about 1/32 of an inch. I'm just under 6 feet tall, and therefore have larger than average hands. I usually wear ring size 7, but when I tried them on at the trunk show at Burr Ridge, I discovered I needed a size 8. It fits on either of my ring fingers, and is a bit tighter on the right than on the left. This size is too big for either of my little fingers, and I can just get it on my left middle finger. It doesn't go on the right middle finger or either index finger. It is a beautiful ring, very substantial and well-made. The star design is engraved into the ring. The inside surface is smooth and shiny. I just got the star bracelet for my birthday, and it's gorgeous, too!

Thanks Nancy - I had the star bracelet for Christmas and Art's said I can have the ring for his birthday (and maybe the Universe ring for my birthday ) Someone in here has said about bringing in a ring sizer, I think it's best to go for an 8, but will check it. Not to worry about not having a metric ruler - we use both here in the uK!

The Star ring looks cool, but I have small hands, so it's hard to tell if it would look good even on my middle or pointer finger. Any thoughts from those who have the ring?

I can certainly agree the line is unisex! My husband was heartbroken when we had to leave the trunk show without the ring he wanted because they didn't have his size! BUT Marla (who is fantastic to work with for special orders, BTW) made it happen for him and his size 10 wave ring should be here in just a few weeks!!! He is sooooo happy My husband is sexy enough but with a Marty ring on his finger, OH BABY!!!
