hi girls..... sorry havent been posting here much or anywhere else really.... just been feeling a little down and trying to work through somethings.

but heres a new one:

Your words cut like a knife,
my heart is shattered on the floor.

the words you have spoken,
turn my world upside down again

pain is all i feel now,
a love unconditional has been broken

letting go is harder then it seems,
but its for the best

dreams are but a distant memory,
like fading with the sun.

but like the sun in the sky,
this pain shall pass by........

Nothing 'easy' is worth having... it is those things that are harder to obtain that are what we should be striving for. Life in the same sense is not easy... but, if you can push through all the endless drama and sh*t, you will find that your bright future is worth fighting for. That bright future is worth having.

All you have to do is find out who you really are inside, and remember that you are better than this... you will get through all this stuff and shine a million times brighter for it in the end.

Faith looks forward... never back!

This is a bit "rhymie" with a boat load of dark. But it is time.

Evil

Evil showed its ugly face today
With those sinister eyes glaring our way
I still myself trying to comprehend
Not knowing the beginning or the end

I may have been caught at a time
When life’s sentinel was not mine
Did you think that I was so awestruck?
And too naïve to figure it out

I have news for you
You were wrong
Very, very wrong
And now monster, you are forever gone

You did not count on the real connection
It was not all your sick fantasy
You did not count on good prevailing
Two bright stars united and shining

I know that evil sometimes wins
This time good ensured no life scars
I know that the universe has a way
Of reconciling deeds on judgment day

Know this to be true
I will not rest
Until the day is here
When your evil is extinguished forever

Yeah, Sometimes you just can't reflect reality by blowing sunshine.....well, you know because life isn't always good or fair. So I congratulate bostongirl on sharing this with us difficult as it may be.

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate all your support. i posted this one about an hour before Star created this new thread so not sure if you saw it. But I have changed it quite a bit since then. Seems appropriate at the moment.

Dress Rehearsal

How many times will we practice?
The last scene of our lives
How many times will I mess up my lines?
And break down and cry

You’d think that I would have memorized
The script of our life’s play
You would think I would be ready
For the live performance on show day

The characters we play seems so real
I am in love with the lead man
And am quite sure that he loves me too
We’re trapped in this plot unable to break through

How many more dress rehearsals?
Before we hit the real stage
Let’s never reach the last curtain call
We’ll embrace love, life’s only cure-all
