Just wondering if it is popular in IL like it is now in NC to have "Rock Music" in church? There are churches here that have 3,000 members + where it is very contemporary with a live band. The music is sometimes not exactly mainstream but it does have a Christian theme or influence.

I don't know how well receive the Lovehammers would be if we were screaming our way thru a set on the altar after the completion of he homily. But I can envision the priest, nuns and altar boys and girls rocking out with us. The priest playing air guitar while hoisting his chalice of red wine, the nuns slam dancing in the aisles, the altar boys and girls singing backup and the Deacon selling our t-shirts.
This would really be something!
