[/IMG] [/IMG] 10/10 for me today!
Way to go on your 10, DB!! I got a 10 tonight in Hobbies. Slower time because I took my time on the 10th question. Yeah, it was way cool to meet The Gordster. I've been a fan of The Hip for like decades. Now I get to meet him for environmental causes. Tonight I met Joseph Boyden. He won the Giller Prize for his book "Through Black Spruce". He was sooooo nice. I just learned about him on Tuesday night - at the Gord Downie event - and I went to his book reading today. Then there was a gathering at a local coffee shop. I read 2 of my poems and a short piece of fiction. It was a first for me - I loved the experience. The small crowd applauded... He liked my stuff! He tapped me on the arm as I walked back to my seat and told me I should send my stuff off to see if I could get it published. OMG. I'm on cloud 9!! Then, during the break, I ended up outside with him, chatting while he had a cigarette break!! He's a Giller Prize winner and I'm babbling to him like he's my next door neighbour... OMG. Sorry, but I have to spout off here - I'm soooo excited because it was all quite spontaneous - especially me reading my writing/poetry.

Thanks CF and RJ! 7/10 for me today. RJ congrats on getting 10! Congrats RJ for reading your writing/poetry. That is good news that Joseph Boyden liked your work and recommends that you try to publish it. You should go for it!
