We need to share a toast together.
I want to toast our glasses to all of us continuing to build our friendships and helping each other out thru the year. That is the most amazing thing about our freindship that is even deeper than the music. I feel lucky to have such a great group of friends. For this I am blessed.
Let's toast to one another and making 2009 the funnest year yet. Let's come together and forget the troubles in life and just focus on stripping away all the stress and celebrating. Let's do this!

I have been contemplating what 2009 is going to be the year of. I announce it at the New Years Eve gig and I want to have a good one that gets my focused on the year. Any ideas? Hmmm... You always have much better ideas than anything I could think of. My only suggestion would be something about having fun and still getting where you're going despite how tough times are at the moment. You know - something about hanging on for the light at the end of the tunnel kind of thing.  But said in a newer Marty kind of way.  |

So cool to have everyone here altogether, MARTY, thanks for the special Australia welcome, made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!  You are all talking and sharing snow pictures and stories, I have only ever seen snow once in my life. I must really be missing out on something hey!  Trees and Marty have just dropped by to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas.  Was gonna put a santa hat on them but a little to windy here today. Helen  |

That is really well said. I think that is a really strong and positive way to look at the challenges of the new year. We also need to throw is a % of rediculous fun for no reason at all. There are times to be serious and an equal time to take things lightly and just throw your arms up and laugh at the world! woo hoo
