I'm hoping I don't end up with a dog, too. Thank goodness I'm not the one driving. That might help deter me.

I am so excited, I got a cellcert a little while ago. It was so wonderful, it was Marty singing WYWH. Thank you so much, my dear dear friend. It was a wonderful wonderful surprize, I didn't even know you were going to be there! YOU ROCK!

I went to the Love Your Pet show on Saturday, and a few others did too (there were about 7 "fans" there). It was a bit surreal. The place was one of those long quonset hut type buildings. At one end they built in a few rooms, with a stage next to it. It looked like it might be a permanent stage - but was very high. There was a good crowd for the fund-raiser, but you could tell that there were a lot not listening to the music - lots of talking going on in the background.
A rockabilly band played first. Then Marty played after a Bolivian dance troup, and before the dog parade/show. He talked to us a bit before the dance troup came out. He said he was sick, must have caught Dino's cold. And he headed out right after he played - had a birthday party to go to.
Set List: Honest I'll Wait, Be the One/Black Angel/title in progress LOL, Hit Me Baby, Mr. Brightside, WYWH and Creep. He was basically singing to us. He asked whether he should play Trees or Creep and someone called out Creep.
The dogs were adorable, but I didn't get the greatest shots of them. If I find any I'll post them. I hope they raised a lot of money for the shelter.

Thanks HY for your review and pics . Very unique looking place. Looks like the walls/ceiling are made of hardened foam.

I think an insulation was sprayed on just a week or so before the event, then the paint was sprayed on. The venue is actually where the dogs will be let out during the day, to just play around together.

Thank you for sharing the pictures and review HY... too bad there wasn't a larger turnout of fans that night, but I guess that the weather was largely the reason for that. However, it is great that so many turned out of the event as a whole. That was a great cause.
Hope that Marty feels better soon, and also Dino (as mentioned previously being ill). This has been a horrid winter season filled with so many viruses and colds. Not much that can be done, but lot's of fluids, and rest.
