Oh, I'm ok, but I do like it (not MY pic in particular) but the black eye-"I'd rather fight than switch" idea as a street teaming/marketing thing--no other singer or band or whatever. I think it'd be cute. Maybe just whoever does these smilies could make one of them. I'll for my !!

Is it my imagination or is that man's voice just getting better and better. Never Tear Us Apart is just amazing!!!! Sorry to tell you, but it is your imagination Don't get me wrong, I'm a fan of Marty's voice, but I smoke 2 packs a day and even my voice would sound good on that recording! Not to knock the recording, thanks for posting it

oh my goodness.....linda, you poor thing. YIKES! I'm really sad I missed the show....I LOVE Hopes and Fears Collide and Diamond in the Dirt and have yet to see him perform them live. Velvet is also at the top of my list as far as the old stuff. Maybe I can butter him up before the Barrington show and get him to sing H & F for me!

Linda, you're one brave trooper girl! Hope you'll heal quickly Thanks for your review and "seasickness" videos LOL Sounds like you guys had a fun time Marty's probably practicing lots of INXS songs for the NZ tour, (one of my favorite bands from the 80's). I'm looking forward to hear the new ones though and stories behind them...

Photos from Springfield! Once again, click on the photos, then the little square in the lower right to view them full size and digital-noise-free. Here's the venue: Marty time!!!! Take note of the color-coordinated ARGYLE socks in the photo above, that go so well with the grey plaid pants! That's something I just love about Marty--his attention to detail, as well as his fashion sense. Let's take a closer look at those socks! Shot in the dark? Marty was joined onstage by the singer from Dogs Divine, who toured with LA Guns for part of the summer. edited to add: I think these grey plaid pants are my new favorites. The fabric and pattern say "brainy finance guy", but the fit, and the guy wearing them, say something else entirely! The overall effect is of going to see a financial planner, and he turns out to look... like... THAT..... ....then he ends up thinking you're an airhead, because you can't focus on all the stuff he's saying about stocks, bonds, and investment portfolios! Nope, nothing wrong with your brain, except that it's turned to mush!!!!! Yes, I'm really liking the grey plaid pants--the first time I saw them was at the Earth Day show, and my brain was so effected that I got some settings wrong on my camera, and had to do some hard work later in Photoshop to fix the problems. ;D
