Hey everyone, if you did not receive an email...here's the deal.
1) Please email me at [e-mail]
2) I'll check to make sure you are on the mailing list.
3) You may have received your email later than others as it is a long list and depending on server load, it may take it a while for the system to go through the list.
4) There are other reasons as well. For example, earthlink customers have a special filter for email that requires me to type one of those letter codes for each person with an earthlink account. So, that takes a little bit of time. And, so on.
5) So, please let me know so we can get you all set.

Dear fans,

If you don't mind, let me offer a bit of advice concerning signing up for and receiving your email newsletters.

Most of the issues involving you not receiving your email have to do with your ISP and NOT the mail list itself. Here is the proof: there are plenty of us subscribed who get it just fine. That means it is your ISP or Email provider who is blocking the email from being delivered to you. The biggest offenders of this are large companies like AOL, Earthlink, Compuserve, etc etc. This all has to do with how they evaluate and block what they think is spam from coming into their network. Things to try if you aren't getting your emails:

a) first check your spam filter folder to see if the email did indeed come in but your email software suspected it was spam and stored it there

b) make sure the sender's address ([e-mail]) is added to your safe sender list or spam filtering settings through your ISP

c) If this still doesn't do it, try contacting tech support with your ISP/email provider and describe the problem to them and see if they can help. They may have a spam filering solution that will let your email newsletter through once you let them know you want to receive this email.

d) Failing that, if you still aren't getting your email from the mail list, go subscribe to the mail list under another mail account (gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc) and see if you get the registration email. If you do and you are able to somehow mark that sender as safe...you should be able to receive subsequent emails from the sender at that address.

Just ordered my ticket - felt like I was buying a plane ticket. Basic price plus, plus, plus all the other charges. Still worth it, though!!! And at least the exchange rate is not killing me up here in Canada!!

I sort of thought I'd underestimated that number. I was only thinking of .org, but even so...lots of people don't post all the time, so yeah, multiple hundreds is more like it!! The LH Swarm!
