Get some drum sticks and bang on those pots and pans, or furniture, or walls, that's what I do - much cheaper than drums!

I already have the drumsticks, but my pots and pans make a hideous clanging noise What I'd really love to hear is a bass drum along with some lovely cymbal crashes..... LOL!! For economy though, 'tis true that the bottom of a wooden bucket sounds amazingly good to pound on!

I never thought of paint cans! The large coffee cans have a great sound too, empty, but with the plastic lid still on them... Let the jammin' begin...what else can we use?

throw pillows work well when you need to rock out, but someone else in your house doesn't ;D
