This show has to be my all time favorite. All the guys were in a really happy, playful, relaxed mood. The night started out with Dino coming on stage and sound checking all the mics. He walked up to the center mic and said "Hello, my name is Marty Casey but shorter and 50 lbs heavier...and I dyed my hair black". He then went to the right side mic and said "I'm Billy, except I have black hair". And then to his own mic. He was very cute and funny. The band was announced and no one came on stage. After about a minute Billy walked on stage alone. He started playing the Star Spangled Banner and still no one showed up. So he played the entire song. It was actually really, really cool. We later learned the guys were playing a joke on him The show was alot of fun. There was a train station and Marty sang to the folks getting off the train and then waved as the train left the station. The guys were really laughing and joking around all evening. Dino at one point broke out into singing Every Rose has its Thorns. And then at another point Dino, Cousin Bill, and Marty left the stage. I think that Bobby was going to leave like they did at the Marseilles show. But Billy walked off and left Bobby to do a drum solo. It was really awesome!!!!! Billy kept playing in the background. It was really terrific. Other than the intro to Ultrasound, I had never seen Bobby do a real drum solo. And then there was the orange bucket. Marty: "Billy - really. I am telling you orange buckets are a real babe magnet". Marty: "I told you so" I saw someone writing the setlist, so I will leave it to someone else to post that. They did close with Baba OReilly and did a fab job on that. Oh and Mr. Casey showed up with a new hat. After the show all the guys hung out with the fans beside the stage. This show was more like being at a party with a bunch of friends. I got to talk with Marty and Billy for a while and Billy actually played a funny joke on me. Very cute. I love Marty Casey music. I love LH music. And i really love to see these guys together enjoying their music and having fun. I will remember that show for a very long time

Hey Boston Girl! Thank you so much for sharing all the details of this show. I love to hear that you and the band really enjoyed themselves. I could just see Marty waving and singing to the people at the Trains. Hilarious!! And the pranks these guys play on each other......priceless! It's really cool to hear that these guys still have fun with each other AND appreciate all the fans that come out to see them live! Great pics, too! aloha, KP

This one was really fun, Dino was a riot !!! The guys all seemed in fine spirit, almost like they were spoiling for a good joke here and there - and Marty singing to the folks on the train and getting off the train with them all geeking at him was very fun. Aw man, no "train" smilies !!!! I think I gotta give Billy a big kudo for his National Anthem.....reminds one a bit of Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock but I think Billy took it a notch higher by not only playing a great rock guitar version but was far more respectful to it. Maybe that's not so hard to understand considering the Hendrix version being a product of the rather turbulent 60's - but, I give my vote to Billy on this one. A nice to Billy for a job well done !!! Chelsea, I loved when Marty got down in front of your camera and posed for you - it was just so cool. You got such fantastic shots. That 'thinker' pose was just so funny when he did it - just waiting for you to take the shot.

Great job on the photos, Chelsea! Very cool of the guys to give you some cute poses and looks. This really was a fun show!!! I think it was everyone's chance to blow off steam after the big show and huge crowd the night before. This one felt like they were playing a party for their friends. Lots of jokes and pranks onstage--Dino's soundcheck on the mics was hilarious. At Marty's mic--"Hi, I'm Marty, except I gained 50 pounds, shrank several inches, dyed my hair black, and forgot how to sing." At Billy's mic--"Hi, I'm Billy, except I grew a couple inches, dyed my hair black, and forgot how to play guitar." At his own mic--"Hi, I'm Dino, and I look just like this." Someone called out for him to do one for Bobby, but he just shook his head like "soooo not goin' there!" ;D Billy's Star Spangled Banner rendition was amazing! I hope someone got that on video. HH jotted down the setlist during the show, so here you go: Start time was 9:15 pm. Billy solo on Star Spangled Banner, K's and Cousin Bill came out eventually. This Town (Marty made big entrance) The Tunnel Call of DistressHold On (Marty sang to Metra passengers, who were going nuts at window! I tried to get some photos of this.) Your Time, My Time (They said before this song that Steph and Susie won the art contest and had dinner with the band. I took a photo of their artwork--it was really well done!) Black Angel Find Your WayMarty switched to acoustic, while Dino and Billy played "Every Rose Has Its Thorn" (by Poison) Driving Blind CloudsMarty went back off the acoustic, while Billy started playing "Stairway to Heaven", then Marty joined in singing it. He sang several lines, and sounded very good! Then Billy started playing "Round and Round" (by Ratt). Clinic Eyes Can't See Oh My Baby (Crowd had been yelling for "Loaded", but they joked around and made like they thought we were saying this song) Guns TreesThe LA trip raffle drawing was just before 10:30 pm. I think they said the winner was a lady who works with the Ronald McDonald House. Let's Get Wasted (with "Tricky" in the middle, then Billy started into "25 or 6 to 4". The other guys left Billy and Bobby onstage, so Billy played a brief solo, then he left the stage. Bobby did a butt-kicking drum solo! I was really impressed, and I hope he'll do that again sometime.) Baba O'Riley Show ended at 10:45 pm. There was a fun and informal meet and greet afterward, too. Marty was up for a wild and crazy photo together, which may appear as my avi pic soon. Dino was witty and goofy, and managed to cover in one conversation: chandelier earrings, do-it-yourself ear piercings, farts, guys in dresses, and many more subjects. I didn't get to talk to Billy and Bobby, but it looked like they were having fun, too. It's good to see them all so happy being together and playing their music. It was a fantastic evening!
