I know its a pain in the butt, but I think we should write more to the LH board through Epic. Not the MC&LH board. Well, yea, hang out there, but also go to Epicrecords.com and then Forum on the top. GO down list, hit lovehammers. Maybe if we go right to the source, they will push the video making faster. Just a thought. You have to sign up to post.

Good idea. I don't understand why they are leaving all of us twisting in the wind.

Okay, I just went over there. The board itself is really hard to read ... tiny red letters on a black background. But what threw me is how far down you have to scroll before finding the Lovehammers folder! Jordis' folder is much higher up, and she hasn't even put out an album yet! Does anybody else think that Epic is trying to downplay or even sabotage LH? Why would they take a band that already has a big fan base and that got even more fans when they toured with INXS, and basically bury them? I don't get it.
I really think we should make our presence known over there. I;m going to start posting daily. And maybe a nice, polite email to Epic wouldn't hurt. I'm starting to think this whole thing is really weird.

Well, Lh is above INXS. Maybe the artists who have their own boards aren't at the top of the list. They probably don't think too much about what order they're in. I think it's a good idea to post over there. I think I'll copy some of my posts over there today.
I don't know if emails to Epic would be a good idea. We may end up causing Lh problems. This line of action was mentioned before, and was shot down. What we do as fans can affect how Lh is treated/received.

Here's the link to the board at Epic: forums1.epicrecords.com/Artists/Lovehammers/You can change the font settings under Preferences and add an avatar. You can also post pictures to the board using the Tag code in your photobucket. Remember, if you change the "http://photobucket.com" to "http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/lovehammer/artist.jhtml" in the code, then you make any picture you post a link to the Vh1 page. People may click it, even accidentally, and add some more clicks to Lh's numbers there. EXAMPLE: <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f226/ceeje129/myspace/10.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://www.vh1.com/artists/az/lovehammer/artist.jhtml" target="_blank"><img src="http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f226/ceeje129/myspace/10.jpg" border="0" alt="Image hosting by Photobucket"></a>

I agree that contacting Epic is only a good idea if we are positive and polite. But I can't see the harm in sending them an email letting them know how much we like the band, thanking them for signing LH, and telling them we are really excited about whatever is in the works. We've already bought the CD ... perhaps they should know we will buy the next one, too, and the one after that. I'm certainly not advocating being negative, hounding them or being accusatory.
