Have you tried refresing the page? Chris posted this in the support forum: "Transfer completed. Once you are able to read this, your DNS is updated, you can post away."

So it might take a little bit for it to show up for some people.

I tried refreshing, but it's still giving me the "board is currently unavailable" message...I'll try again after I have some dinner

Still down for me as well.....It pulls up the board, but it is all in very tiny script and a weird font...there is definately something still wrong, can't go anywhere or view anything.

This is Chris's original message about the server change:

Due to ongoing issues with maximum outgoing email limits and frequent outages, we'll be switching to a different server.. the new server has no email limit, you'll get your notifications much faster, and you most likely won't ever see the "failed sending email" message again.

The downtime will be just as last time, DNS servers will be changed. To avoid the split server confusion, after the files are switched to the new server, they will be wiped from the current one.. that way you might get an error message, but there won't be duplicate boards.

The downtime is dependent on your ISP's speed to update DNS. If it took 2 days last time this happened, expect two days without being able to access the forums. If it took a few hours, expect the same.

This downtime could last throughout the weekend, as I said depending on your ISPs DNS updates and how long they take to go into effect. Some of you might not even notice a downtime, most likely you'll experience a window of around 10-30 hours of not being able to access the site.

I got back on by clicking on "sign in" and even though it still said it was unavailable, it let me sign in, and there I was!

Didn't stephd say Chris was going to switch servers again since the board has been so slow and has still been having problems since the last switch? She asked that we help contribute to the cost of switching again so Chris would not have to foot the bill by himself.
