These are some questions that I've gotten so far. I thought I would share them in case someone else has the same question: Q: I can't import the audio into Windows Movie Maker (WMM). It says the file is corrupted. What should I do?A: I would suggest trying the following if you run into problems importing clips to WMM:
- Try restarting your computer. Sometimes your computer just needs a fresh start.
- If you downloaded the file you're trying to import, delete it and re-download it.
- Check to see if you have the latest version of Movie Maker. If not, you can download it for free from Microsoft.
- Run a virus scan on your computer to see if a virus is interfering with your program.
Hopefully, one of these will work. Q: I have video clips on tape that I recorded and want to use in my video. I don't have the DV cable to import them into my computer. How can I get my video in my computer without buying the DV cable?A: I don't know of any way to import footage from a camcorder without using the DV cable. Sorry. But, you might check local businesses to see if there's a company that will convert your video tapes to DVDs. If you can do that, you can use a DVD ripping software to import the video footage to your computer. ImToo is has a free, trial version that allows you to rip 5 minute segments at a time.

Will people with Macs be able to view them? I don't think they can see some of the videos on the website.
I am not submitting mine until I can go three whole days without changing something. It is a good thing that I love that song, because I have listened to it a MILLION TIMES already!

The videos will be posted in windows media and I believe mac's can play those. Real Media is the only format I think that Mac can't do.....
I suppose we shall find out. And if we have to post them in a diff. format for everyone to vote, then we will.

Ok Ceeje, as you know I am a real dork on this kind of thing, yet I would really like to try it out... my problem is that I don't have XP and my little camera will let me download the mini video into the 98 2nd edition. So what next? I have read the Q&A's but it is all gobbly gook to me so is there any hope? How do I put the music with the video? Hope question helps somebody else with 98 version I've checked all the movie making software that I know of, and all of them require Windows 2000 or higher. Does anyone else have any ideas? Sorry Ceeje, I didn't get back to you on this one. Found "Video Edit Magic" will work... all I need to to now is learn how to combine everything and this could take awhile. Whew!!! I'm an idiot

Hi, all! I have a request. Does anyone have any video footage of Lh that I can use for my video? I know there's lots of concert footage of Lh out there, but I don't want to use anyone's without permission. If you have any Lh footage that you're not going to use in your own video, I would SO love to be able to use it in mine. Please PM me if you have any for me. :~) Thank you for reading. Ceeje
