hmmm...such great memories of being HAMMERED!!  1st Hammer experience after RSINXS and having to get more more more of Marty... *Metro, Chicago IL Nov 05 *Gibson Ampitheatre, Los Angeles CA Jan 06 *Viper Room, Los Angeles CA Jan 06 *Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas NV Jan 06 *Ovens Auditorium, Charlotte, NC Feb 06 *Tour Wrap Party, Las Vegas NV Mar 06 ....and a litte dash of Marty in Los Angeles for the Music+tv.com webcast, Jun 06 *Pearl Room, Mokena IL Jun 06 ...and soon, The Roxy in L.A., Canal Room in NY HammerJam!! funny, in writing/reading all of this...NEVER have I EVER gone to see one band this many times, and especially in a 9 month period. Kind of surreal but so great!  I know there are many of you all that have seen them many many more times & I wonder if you feel the same way?! |

Just twice, unfortunately. Viper Room and the Gibson Ampitheatre. But I'll be at the Roxy next week, though. And Hammerjam, of course.
I've never actually flown across the country to see a band, and everyone thinks I'm crazy obsessed but they just don't get it. Sucks for them.

Coming up the Roxy and Hammerjam
Still debating on Canal Room in NY and possible last fling in Naperville Labor Day weekend.
Jodie--I agree with you. Before this, I know I have never seen the same band 4 times in a year much less contemplated traveling to see them.
I also know that part of the experience that keeps me coming back is the group of people who I've met through the band. I love the LH's but it is the folks I've hung out with that have made the experience for me--you all know who you are and I hope to meet more of you at coming concerts!

exactly, chanvre. they don't know what they're missing. Tell them you have a more insane friend who flies in from Hong Kong to see the band!
Okay, hammered 3x -- all in same insane February weekend in Chicago (Joe's. Virgin Records, INXS).
Seeing them again in NYC in August, then Hammerjam in October. What a year!

Would love to make it to Roxy - have tickets but no transportation (flights are 400+ $$$$ - Yikes and Yuck!!!! - sigh - twas just a pipe dream!!!

Not nearly enough times!! ;D And not nearly as many as Kimmie girl, but I've been to: OCT 2005 Tweeter Center (on my birthday ) NOV 2005 Metro DEC 2005 Aragon FEB 2006 Joe's FEB 2006 VirginMS FEB 2006 Chicago Theater APR 2006 Best Buy 1 APR 2006 Best Buy 2 June 2006 Pearl Room July 2006 Summerfest And I was at that JAN 2006 Bottle of Justus show with SHR ( at House of Blues ) I guess I have seen them...10 (& ½ lol ) times . First time I saw the Lovehammers was in St. Charles when they opened for INXS. Second time, Memphis Music Festival Third time, Pearl Room in Mokeeeeena Il. Every time, it's a different experience, and a more indepth passion for the music and the men behind it. Soon, I'm going to Blueberry Hill in St. Louis, and then off to Hammerjam...... |
