Sorry if this is posted elsewhere but when is that Trees video coming out?? Ive been so excited but i havent seen it anywhere.. is it not out or is it and i havent came across it?

Hey Lovingmxc, i cant be sure, but last thing that i heard was the band recorded the trees video and didnt like it so they were going to retape it somewhere else... Im sry if this is false information, but im just the messenger!

hey lovingmxc,
to sum up, yes they did film a video at one of the concerts last year and found that they could not use the footage. Since, they have said on numerous occasions that they are working on a vid or about to film one, so we'll see.
We'll post anything we hear/find out on the boards, so keep checking back!

In June, Stockyard Films posted a still from the Trees video with a note saying More News to Come. Haven't heard anything since then.  Go to stockyardfilms.com, then click on news, then click on June 15th. |

I made the vid. It is supposed to be humorous and corny, so I suppose I should take it as a compliment? LOL The idea actually came from an idea I had for something else (which I still haven't gotten around to creating). Once I get it started, I'll be sure to post a link.  |

They are filming the REAL video of Trees this Saturday at the Wicker Park Oyster Festival in Chicago. this is what the Lovehammers wrote.
Hello everyone!
We will be filming a video for our song "Trees" THIS SATURDAY in Chicago. If you want to be in it, all you have to do is show up, and go nutty when "Trees" is played. You can bring signs, funky clothes, anything you want to make yourself stand out.
It is an all ages, FREE show too, so you won't have to pay to get in. Here is the info:

MC & Lovehammers - 8:30 PM
You can check out our MySpace to hear the song "Trees" if you want to get familiar with it.

And somewhere, anyone who was going to the Oysterfest show was encouraged to bring signs for the purpose of the video being shot. And many of us did indeed !!! Was able to find some incredibly flourescent posterboard stock to make them "pop out" from the background. Saw lots of other signs there, too. That was a cool show, and when I turned around and looked backwards there was a HUGE sea of people. I have since heard an estimate of 10,000 there. WOW..........
BTW kristenhead - that video with the dolls was utterly brilliant !!!! I laughed until my sides hurt. Great work!

Oh my gosh, i just watched the homemade Trees Video...that is so harsh! LOL!!!!!! All bandaged up in wheelchairs and they're kicked when they're down....haha! That was great, kristenhead!
