Okay, I'll go first.

1. How did you find this site?
I was searching the web for Marty videos and stumbled upon it. My first post was all serious "Thanks for the information on Marty and the band." It was all downhill from there.

2. On a scale of 1-10, how crazy do your friends and family think you are because of this obsession?
492. But I am working on them. That number will come down. Mark my words.

3. How do you feel about red ties?
Up until a couple of months ago, I never thought anything about them one way or the other. Now I sort of feel like I am a red tie champion. Someone has to stand up for them.

4. Which is your favorite LH CD and song?
Murder on My Mind is my favorite CD. Call of Distress - the original - is my favorite song.

5. Tell us a funny story that relates to your Lovehammers obsession.
I was talking to a woman I had just met after the Aragon show and she mentioned the site. So I casually mention (without thinking) that I post here, and she asks me my name. I hem and haw and finally say "Penny." She immediately says, "Penny74! I know who you are!" then she pauses for a moment and says, "Oh. You REALLY like him." Yeah, I could have died.

I said I was kidding. What, you all thought I was going to say "me" right? Sheesh.

After Marty, Jordis was my favorite. I could never see her with the band, but she blew me away that first night and I just love her voice.

8. Where are you from and what do you like best about your hometown?
I'm from the Chicago area. My favorite thing about Chicago right now is that it is home to the Hammers and I have been lucky enough to be able to see them so many times in the past few months - and hopefully more soon!

Love them. I like red.

I love the Ultrasound CD because I love the raw self-recording feel of it, but it's a tie between Straight as an Arrow and The Tunnel for favorite song.

Spokane. There's an amazing store downtown called Boo Radley's, and I make it a point to wander in every couple months and look around. I love that place. I also love driving down Sunset highway into Spokane at night. The way Spokane looks then-amazing.

Yay! I'm playing hooky today so I have tons of time to post!

1. How did you find this site?
I think I found out about it through the MSN site. I used to post on there all the time. When the show was on, I was completely obsessed. I'm a little better now.

2. On a scale of 1-10, how crazy do your friends and family think you are because of this obsession?
It depends. My husband probably thinks I'm at about a 5 because he actually likes their music now AND because I don't let on to how much I really am on here. Some of my friends probably think I'm more of an 8 or 9. They just don't get it at all. My office mate thinks the whole Marty thing is the weirdest thing in the world, but she's in love with Tim McGraw so I don't trust her judgment.

3. How do you feel about red ties?
In general, I have no feelings for or against them. On Marty, anything is the most beautiful piece of clothing ever made.

4. Which is your favorite LH CD and song?
Probably MOMM. Call of Distress is definitely one of my favorites, although I hate picking. I also love Better Off (Walk Away), Confusion, Clouds, Let's Get Wasted, This Town, Clinic, Hold On, and like ten others.

5. Tell us a funny story that relates to your Lovehammers obsession.
My only Lovehammers obsession story is from the Aragon show. I brought my husband, and I was trying to be on good behavior. I thought I would die when Marty took off his shirt, but I kept the best poker face ever! Anyway, Marty came into the crowd over the railing right in front of me, and I got to touch his side. That's it. Never got to meet him or say hello, but I touched his side. I have no memory of anything that happened 10 minutes before or after that.

Penny is everyone's favorite mod (duh!).

I would choose JD over angry bees, but I would try to creep him out before he got to me, you know - like you do to the weirdos on the subway so they don't take your stuff.

I really loved Jordis, but I also really loved Tara. I wished she hadn't left so early. Suzie could definitely sing too, but I didn't always love her personality.

8. Where are you from and what do you like best about your hometown?
I live outside of Milwaukee right now. I go to grad school in Milwaukee, and my husband is in grad school in Madison. We live in the middle. What I like best about where I live is that I have about an hour commute every day, which sounds horrible but it gives me two hours to myself each day to listen to music and think about whatever - it's kind of nice.

I don't know if it's funny, but twice now I have travelled to Chicago on little more than a moments notice for LH shows(Aragon and Joe's) I didn't even have tickets for Aragon, I trusted someone on ebay would hook me up, and they did! Anyhow, because of this, I am becoming the "unpredictable" one of my friends and family. How cool is that!!! Gotta go where your gut tells you go!

8. Where are you from and what do you like best about your hometown? Mooresville, North Carolina - I love that my part of town is quiet and inexpensive. It is also SO easy to get anywhere else from here - 2 hours to mountains, 4 hours to ocean, 91/2 hours to New York city, what else could I ask for?

1. How did you find this site? I don't remember for sure I lurked for a long time before I posted. EIther google or from the ROckstar INXS forum boards.
2. On a scale of 1-10, how crazy do your friends and family think you are because of this obsession? Probably a 10 but most seem happy for me and a few have almost expressed envy that I have something new that I'm passionate about.

3. How do you feel about red ties? What do they say it isn't the clothes that make the man. It's the energy of the man in the clothes! (red ties no ties makes no difference to me.)

4. Which is your favorite LH CD and song? Tough question. Right now I have 3 cd's L'strange MOMM and MC&LH. I load them into the CD changer and rock out. Everyday its a new song that catches me--today straight as an arrow and hold on were the songs I had to repeat. Tomorrow who knows?

Don't know how funny it is but I already posted that I made a tape for my car since I don't have a CD player in my car--popped it in on the way to work and then when I came out of work I forgot it was in the tape player and though LH's were on the radio. I was so happy for them and then I realized duh--it is the tape you made. I guess I so wanted to hear them on the radio that I was going to make it happen in my car no matter what!

8. Where are you from and what do you like best about your hometown?

I grew up in Rockford, Illinois although it's been a long time since I lived there. I knew I was moving away even as a little kid--I'd say to myself when I grow up I'm moving to a big city. Honestly how does a 5 year old think these things? I think what I liked best about growing up in Rockford was being close to cities like Chicago, Madison and Milwaukee. I loved venturing into the bigger cities to see plays and concerts. One of my favorites was to go to Summerfest on the Lake Michigan lakefront in Milwaukee. (It's a huge music festival--multi stages and lots of beer and food!)

I'd have to say sweet Suzie McNeal. She sang "Bohemian Rhapsody" really great. I still love that song because it's by Queen. Suzie can SO do Queen easy 1-2-3.

I live in Lafayette. I used to live in Otterbein. Sure is bigger and better than Otterbein, that's for damn sure!

Sigh.. I love the one on my bedpost.. I don't mind them so much hanging from belt loops..Otherwise, well I've coined a phrase "I red tie hate _______" to describe absolute loathing for something.

That would take hrs to answer. It depends on my mood. Songs: Sky is Falling, Ultrasound, Straight As an Arrow, Confusion, Casualty, Velvet---Those are today's top 6.

But that leaves out The Riddle, Use Me, Bulletholes, Hold On, Summertime in the City ( ), and Let's Get Wasted

My mom sent out an email telling that I had gone to a rock concert. She said I had gone to see N Sync and the Lovehammers.

The other funny thing is that my students keep trying to steal my Lovehammers cds because the want to hear Low Life Insurance after hearing the opening riff.

I think I am lucky to be a part of this group of mods. I cherish each one of them.

I'm from SW VA and I love living in the mountains. They are beautiful. In an hour I can go from being in a super rural place to a busy college town.

I lurked there but when those boards got really snarky (I remember people saying the most awful things about Marty and his brother John would have to come on to defend him) I decided it was time to go where the Marty love could, um, flow freely.

as a fashion journalist I should care, but really I don't. Kinda like them tied on the belt loops best. Makes for easy grabbing[/font][/b]

Every day my fave CD changes, it's a mood thing I guess. But my first fave song was The Tunnel and my all-time fave is Clouds --both versions will do.

well i have told most of my stories, but I'll share a new one with you. The rest of my family had already gone on holiday when I was getting ready to fly to Chicago for the concerts. No one was home to make sure I had any sense left. I just watched RS over and over and listeneed to CDs getting psyched up. I was too succesful. I was so excited that I got the day wrong and went to the airport a day early. The check in attendant started laughing at me.

I was truly honored to be asked to be a mod -- don't think I can pick fave, cause I love 'em all.

okay, I would choose JD over the bees --he don't scare me. In fact, I'd make him sing We are the Champions so I could have a laugh.
Jordis definitely my #2, but I was truly a Marty fan the whole way.

Originally a chi-town girl and currently most in love with it for giving us the Hammers. Now a Hong Kong chick. Like NYC, I love HK for its energy, it's cool people, and the damned fine food.

1. How did you find this site? When Marty mentioned his band The Lovehammers, I looked them up and this site came up, I was a lurker for a long time, then Oh My, here I am.

3. How do you feel about red ties? I actually love them only because Deeeeee Geeeeee hates them. For real, as long as Dino doesn't start wearing them, I don't care!

4. Which is your favorite LH CD and song? Just depends on the mood for the day. The Clinic is all time favorite. Of course we have to add Velvet, Real Man, Casualty, Straight As An Arrow, and The Tunnel (Dino sings in that one). All of them I love!

5. Tell us a funny story that relates to your Lovehammers obsession. I think the kids pasting Dino pictures all over their bodies in St. Louis was the tops for me.

8. Where are you from and what do you like best about your hometown? I'm from Anna Illinois, a small town on the Southern Tip of Illinois. I have a few life time friends here, and the scenery is addictive. Other than that, and it being called home, I'm open to move when the kids get older!

1. How did you find this site? I was watching Rockstar, saw Marty and thought, hmm, lets see if anything is on the internet about this guy, first thing that popped up, and have been here ever since!

3. How do you feel about red ties? well, lol, ummm, yeah i will leave that one alone

Tell us a funny story that relates to your Lovehammers obsession. well, when i do get a chance to go to my friends house, anything that they might say, i will automatically start singing a marty song b/c the phrase or sentence they said would be in one of the songs and they just look at me like what??? but by now, they are used to it
