Good idea Gaia - you're right - we will work out a roster - especially now, as Peeks pointed out - the Bar is so much bigger and hence takes a couple of hours to polish. As for taking turns on Marty's lap - ok - we have been hogging him - selfish Aussie's that we are! You can go first on his lap when the band comes to Oz - promise! I'm sure Ing and Peeks will be ok with this. We'll work out a rotating roster if ya know what I mean!

okay, so having funny Street team-y ideas today, that just might go somewhere. It looks like I'll be interviewing Giorgio Armani at end of March, so i thought I might pass him a CD. But then I thought, that would be a good way to be fired. So instead, will wear MCLH t-shirt and if it comes up (designers tend to ask about what people are wearing in my experience) then I can talk up boys and give him cd if he's interested.
2. Just remembered that bestest friend, now living in Japan, has brother who is pretty famous Hollywood film director (won't say who). I think she needs to pass on LH info to him. The music should be in big-time films, no?
Both these ideas may come to nothing, but one can only try.
in meantime, my daughter has become Hammerhead extraordinaire and has converted a number of classmates. The cool thing is they each really dig different songs, although Casualty and Trees are on heavy rotation... ahh, kids

Hey Gael - Thanks for the pm's mate.  So nice to see you around and have a chat with ya....we will definately need a hand with the spitting and polishing mate. Thanks for the offer. This new bar is so much more of a handful. Don't me, Lizzie & Ing know it!!!! But you better ease yourself into it slowly mate - remember you haven't been around for a while and you don't want to over exert yourself and cause an injury. OK?? Sounds awesome - yeah you don't want to be pushy but make sure when you interview GA that you keep adjusting your t-shirt and humm the songs while he's responding to your questions. Or is that just rude??...lol Your daughter sounds like she's onto something there with her school friends. She sure does know how to make friends and influence people. Takes after her mum hey?? But the job of promoting the LH is such an easy one....once peeps have just one listen they're hooked and you'll probably find they want to hear LH early stuff.... Too Cool!!!!! peeks |

Hey Peeks - love the roster mate - count me in. Not sure about whether Gaia will be happy with the G spot you have allocated her though - mind you, one hell of a lot can be accomplished in 3 minutes!!! Like uh - you can uncork a bottle of chards in 3 minutes and down a quick glass or three - um - you can have 180 seconds of Marty thoughts - you can view a couple of hot Marty pics and linger over them for a couple of moments - on second thoughts - we'd better give her a little more time matie! Might have to re-work the roster.

I'll take Gael's spot then. Let her have a go....mind you - she probably won't put in as much elbow grease as I do mate. I put my whole body into getting that bar spic and span. I have spoilt you girls. You are all so used to the "Mr Sheen" sparkle....
It is so bloody humid today - thunder storms, rain - you name it. Do you think I might get electrocuted if I stay on the computer??

Really really appreciate your Bar work Peeks. I have never seen a more well polished Bar in my life....you certainly take your work seriously!!

OMG - you so crack me up... So you reckon I should stay online?? Hi everyone,
Just thought I'd quickly pop in and say hi, see what you are up to.
You can put me on the roster, but don't over do it too much, I was a cleaner at schools and med centres for 8 years so plenty of practice, so I can pitch in and give some help. Just don't ask me to do windows, I hate windows. lol.

Well helloooooooooooo there ladies!! Hey that roster was quickly made up. Didn't intentionally mean to leave anyone out. Sorry Den, chk, deb, helen...can you ever forgive me??  And here I am again talking about the bar as if it really exists.... You are all going to be put on the roster....no worries!! Hey Lizzie - please don't start slapping me around again. My black eye is only just healing. Hey Den - OMG - that pic of Marty in the rafters is hilarious - poor Marty - Come down now Marty - the roster needs a bit of fine tuning so you can have a rest and put up your feet - FOR NOW!! The band looks bloody awesome - love the clips - thanks for posting them...and The Tunnel is probably my all time favourite LH's song. Hey I loved my 3-minute spot on the roster! Oh well, we definitely can't leave out Hel, Den and Chk. Hmm there's lots other rosters we could make out - e.g., roster for stocking up on paper towels and chards, hogging the hot tub, swinging on the HH... so don't worry there's plenty of stuff to go around ;D Chk, would you be coming to Singapore end March? Hey Den, Marty must have been really freaked out up there in the rafters. Why, he's got demon eyes! LOL |
