The Australian producers behind the reality-TV show Rock Star are suing INXS for more than $7.5 million, claiming they were sacked by the band without being paid.

David Edwards and Michael Murchison say that as executive producers of the CBS TV series - in which J.D. Fortune became the band's new frontman - they were entitled to a slice of the band's income from the project.

They are suing INXS Productions and individual band members in the NSW Supreme Court.

Sean Docker, counsel for INXS, told Justice Patricia Bergin yesterday that the band would seek a stay on the proceedings.

I did read Cindy's post about not doing quotes with pics. Sooooo, is it OK though if we take the exact same picture from our Photobucket stash and type in the exact same message? That won't make it crash right?....or not.
Let me know. With all of these great white, green and of course red pics flowing around here we don't want things to crash. I've been trying to just steal the pics..uh....I mean borrow the pics into my own file, putting them into Photobucket and then posting. Is that OK?


Things are getting crazy at work. We've had two people take positions elsewhere, I've started validating two more instruments and the overtime has already started. So it is so great to get over to the MBDU and try out our new HH....I can't wait!!! Thanks Ingt for letting me be first.... and with nobody else doing their triple pikes while thinking my chin is a football....I won't mention any names...

Chk, so sad that you won't be coming down in March Was planning to take you out for some real pisswah and live band. Not sure if you've heard of our local band Tania but they now play at Harry's Bar - they're colourful and have been around at least 15 years. They're not rock though. Never mind, I'm sure we'll meet eventually.

A technical note re: pics - I think one way to keep the file size down is to convert the pics to 72 dpi if they are not already in that resolution. Cos if it's purely for web viewing then 72dpi should suffice.

Good news: I went to the post office yesterday! Some of you should check your post boxes next week - you know who you are
