Hey to All!  Lucy from Long Island here! I'm 45 (will be 46 next Friday), married 20 yrs. to hubby Steve., have 1 son, Stevie (15), two Labs (Sonny-Yellow p.b. and Jake-Black mix) and a cat (Kittles). I wrote on the Guest Book yesterday that I just saw Marty/Lovehammers for the FIRST time ever at The Canal Room in NYC ~~ Beforehand, I never even heard of Marty or the band, nor did I watch "Rock Star: INXS" (out of repect for Michael Hutchence' memory~R.I.P.), but after having seen the concert and having the pleasure of meeting Marty and Dino (such a SWEETIE  ) in person afterward, I am in LOVE!!  I see Dino's a "fellow Leo" and "dog-lover" as well...could we be soulmates? (I'm probably old enough to be his...well, MUCH-OLDER sister!  ) Nice to meet you all!  OXO Lucy P.S. BTW...who else besides me thinks Dino bears a striking resemblence to Billy Joe Armstrong of 'Green Day'? |

Lilucy, I was there too with my hammerhubby. I'm 48, so welcome from one of the older fangirls. We have a 6 year old daughter. You should go to Hammerjam.

I ordered my MCLH CD yesterday and am JONESIN' for it to arrive (by 8/21, I'm told)! I've had a chance to listen to "Trees" and a few other LH ditties online and am slowly gettin' to know the band! I only wish they would come back to NY...say, Long Island perhaps??? so that I can see/meet them again! In the meantime, I'll just get "Hammered" when I receive my tunes! OXO Lucy |

"Trees", of course...pretty much ALL of them are TOPS; although "Clinic" is my least fave (not that it's a bad song per se; I just like the others more). This is one CD that I can happily listen to from beginning to end without skipping tracks! OXO Lucy |

Yup! Trees is a classic! "Clinic" is actually one of my favorites on the cd! I love everything about the song but I really like the opening verse and the way Marty's voice sounds... priceless! Anyway, glad you are enjoying the CD! Take Care. |

I saw your welcome from the introductions thread. Welcome to you, too!! It's great to have other newbies join at the same time. By the way, I didn't give much info about myself, but I just turned 49. Hi to suezer2, I'm feeling like I fit in here more and more now. One of the reasons I was a lurker for so long is because of my age. In my heart I'm 25, of course. That's what should count the most, right?
I'm hoping to make it to Hammerjam. I posted in the Tour Talk section about my experience at Lee's Palace in Toronto. I had a blast, along with a sort of silly time at the bar after the show. So, I'm hoping to make a better impression in Chicago!!
