It's fun to play around here isn't it...Hi catfan! ...What part of of Kentucky are you from? I lived in Florence for 7 years and I have lots of relatives throughout. So I'm not from there but I've got some roots! I especially love Lexington...spent many a day at Keenland. Good to see you here and have fun! I know I do!

Well i tend to pronounce it Loo-uh-vul! LOL! Although sometimes I find myself calling it Louie-ville! I live here and call it a couple of different things! HA! Yeah, Im familiar with Florence. Been through there several times going to Cincinnati and been to Newport Aquarium. Did you live there when the aquarium was there? I am so glad to meet some people familiar with KY. I think theres only one person I know of on .com and I think she rarely posts!

Yes, I was there when the Newport Aquarium was built....what a great place, the last time I was there was 7 years ago, they had special backpacks that we had to carry our daughter in...
Are you familiar with the Cincinnatian Hotel? My most favorite restaurant in the world is in there...The Palace.
Do you get to the Derby often?

Well if I knew I was going to have a special call on NYE, then I might just stay up and celebrate this year. I would love it if you called. If you have any questions about the site feel free to ask away, I'll help if I can.

thanks rachael! suzy im not familiar with that hotel. sounds great though! I went to the derby every year when i was in college. my friends from OK came home with me every year and we went to the infield! Yikes! Too old for that now! LOL! But definitely a huge thing here with parties and stuff! My brother and sister still go every year! Theyre brave! The last Derby I went to was when we went to the infield and then had to drive back to Lexington the next morning for graduation! That was rough! Janet, I would be happy to call you NYE! Let me know if you want me to for sure! We'll talk before then! Mary

Catfan in 1989 my family had a triple crown racer...his name was Hawkster, he came in 5th in all three races...I'll never forget all the excitement...we sat right on the finish line at the derby and sipped mint juleps...and that infield was nuts I tell you! ;D ;D ;D ;D
