I still, after all of this time do not have "Arms Wide Open" and the first "Don't Change". I am feeling very incomplete.... I want so badly to add them to my cd. Any advice?  |

I unhid my email for a while so if people want me to email them, they can reach me. I have pretty much everything Marty sang on the show and Suicide Blonde.

Sorry about that--I rehid my email. While I'll respect the forum rule, I think it's a mistake to see exchanged mp3's as lost sales. It's been my experience that the biggest fans not only download the most, but also spend the most money on their obsessions.

Sorry I had to modify that last post. This thread was started to try to promote downloading legally Marty's songs through MSN Music. (thank you very much MSD2K!) At some point it turned into a free for all. I am going back now and editing every link that promoted free downloads. I really am sorry folks, but please try to think about what we are trying to accomplish with this web site and this message board.

Yes, many of the biggest fans would.... but there are also tons of moochers out there who wouldn't (think about all the rip offs on eBay and such) and in no way shape or form do we want to facilitate them. |

Again if anyone has the means to download Marty's/Lovehammers music through MSN Music, please do so! Marty is still No. 1 with TREES!!! The public loves this song. Just giving this a little BUMP so we can keep Marty at the top and in the top 10 with those amazing songs he did on the show. Also no lecture here..but if at all possible to BUY a download, please do so instead of going for the freebies. Thanks!

yeah what's up with that?!... i'm just about to order it but i'm wondering is it the version that was available on MSN? or is it a new studio version? because that's a major reason why Pretty Vegas is number 8 on Itunes... people wanna hear the studio version.

I am willing to pay but I need help finding the version Marty did of "Don't Change" for the finale. I know a lot of people didn't like it but I did. Can anyone give me a lead on this? Also, I missed the show with that "Us" song. Was that any good? Does anyone know where that can be downloaded? Thanks!  |

Someone mentioned iTunes farther up this thread ... I'm a Mac user, and the MSN site doesn't support the Mac, so I can't download anything from there! If there are any other frustrated Mac users out there, let's bombard Apple and Microsoft with emails. Maybe they'll release the other songs to iTunes.
Or maybe someone can answer this question: if I download the songs from MSN and then burn them to a CD, will I be able to upload them to my iTunes library?

Hi Wendy:
I'm another frustrated Mac user. You should be able to upload songs from a CD as long as they're MP3 format. Be sure to burn the CD in an audio format. That's supposed to make it playable anywhere (including your Mac), so you can then upload. My 13 year old has a PC so I have to resort to that sometimes!

Thanks, Chris! I assume I'll have to do the initial download and burn the CD on a PC. It's so silly ... MSN is really cutting off a huge audience by being so inflexible.

I'm a Mac user AND a Canadian; MSN doesn't have any consideration for either. I'm not even able to download from MSN because I don't have a U.S. address.

Even on iTunes, you can't order outside your country. My daughter wanted a song that was only available in Spain. We found it on iTunes but it wouldn't let us buy it with our iTunes account. It said we had to set up an account for iTunes in Spain in order to download it. Ugh!

Has anyone tried to download music today? I finally got my laptop over to my brother's house so I can use his high speed internet access to down load all Marty's songs and now all Rockstar songs are not available!!!!! Is this a temporary thing or have I missed my chance??? |
