 My Husband just gave me the Inxs Rock star DVD for my birthday and we are very disappointed with it. We were hoping for it to start at the very beginning and showing everything not just small parts. We were hoping for more behind the scenes everything. The DVD is very disappointing it is like small highlights I could of got off the computer. Does anyone else feel the same? We should right in to Mark Brunett and complain. Like to hear what others thought.

I'm sorry char, that your b-day present wasnt what was expected. I am so glad you said something though, I will save my money. Now, hopefully your hubby will give you lots of kisses and a nice dinner to make up for it.

Definitely agree with you. I have posted under the RS thread about this. A real freakin big disappointment. But I said guess you get what you pay for. I didn't pay much. I am extremely disappointed about it. The the only best part is whenever they show Marty. I wanted a full RS series video like they do for Lost or some other series. RS video is only good for the Marty parts like when He sings HMBOMT, Creep or WYWH. Those are my favorite songs of the series. I highly recommend the Live/Raw DVD. The Lovehammers give 1000 percent on the DVD. Marty is sooo AMAZING!!!!!!

It's not a bad rental though. I just rented it from Netflix. I liked the interviews and extras. They really need to do a dvd set of the show though and include all the episodes. They are leaving a ton of money on the table by not offering this to their fans.

welll Iwill say this about it. The quality is better than the bootlegs you buy off eBay. Yes, I very very much want a full season set with lots of cool extras (because YOU KNOW they filmed all kinds of things they aren't showing us.)
So, yes I was disappointed. But for the price (under $15 or so) it is an excellent deal.

I enjoyed it but I knew what I was getting. A full show would be great but it would cost a lot more than what we paid for this DVD.

If you enjoyed other parts of the Rockstar series besides Marty, it's worth buying it. At least there is more Marty in there than other singers on the show and the "too hot for TV" was funny. Go for it.
I have it and enjoyed it. ;D

I just went out yesterday and bought it. I wish that there was more of the episodes on there as well but it was well worth it just to see the Marty clips. I didnt get to watch the whole thing yet. But I did get up early this morning and watch all of Marty's performances. What a great way to start the day!
