Hope it has not been posted before. There is an interesting interview with Suize which shed some light on why JD asked others permission to sing PV and when INXS decided to choose JD. Here is the link.

IMO, Suzie should've definitely gotten the job. INXS music from the last 10-15 years is perfectly suited for her. Some of the later songs like Mystify and Bitter Tears just sound so right done by Suzie. The way that Suzie sang "Us" during the recording clinic blew me away. That song was so suited for her! But, if the majority of the fans of INXS don't want a female singer, what is INXS to do? They seem to be more concerned about making money these days than the music, so if it was their goal to sell cd's under the INXS name, they definitely made the right move.

Maybe Andrew will do a side project with Suzie. I think that Andrew's music is perfect for her. With Michael Hutchence and Andrew Farriss colaborating, the music had a bit more edge to it, but Andrew's music definitely favors someone like Suzie.
