I don't think that we'll have to worry about Marty defecting to this years RS: INXS. It's not quite his style.
I hope this season is good. I thought that last years show was really great and I'd hate to see this show turn into a major cheese fest like AI.

God forbid he is ever compared to Justin G-whatever from AI 1!!! Marty gets compared to Clay or Bo - the guys who should have won but didn't. |

this report on auditions in malaysia notes that of those who tried out, 3 got called back, all Malaysian.
Here's a good paragraph about what they sang, quoting Sam Gollestani of Mark Burnett productions:
“We also had some classic Led Zepplin tracks, and a couple of people sang Pretty Vegas by J.D Fortune (last year’s Rock Star: INXS winner) and Trees by Marty Casey (Rock Star: INXS finalist), which really shows the great response the first season got here.”

i actually really enjoyed the "reality" part of RS:INXS. Here in Asia it was broadcast back to back with the concert show; hopefully they will do that again so we aren't stuck on MSN! If I hear anything about Star TV's plans I'll post it here.

RS2 will be on FOX8 channel on Foxtel network, same as last year. Not sure exact start date though...
