Hi Marty,

I hope you get to read your messages this weekend, but I think it would literally take over a week to read all these messages. You have such a huge fan base and probably didn't know how large it was while being away from the real world.

I'm not sure if you will remember me from the last couple of shows...but I was standing right by the stage near your side and would scream out Marty like the rest of the crowd. =) I'm that asian girl w/ curly hair that asked for your autograph during a break when you weren't allowed, but snuck it in. You were so kind & considerate! Thank you!!!!!

I was so privileged to be able to attend the last 2 shows. Your magnetism was magnified even more while seeing you in person. It amazed me to see your progression and how high you set the bar each week. Your first performance of "Take me out" blew me away. Since then, you have been my #1 pick.

Your maturity and intelligence was so evident by how you responded to questions. You handled everything in such a professional manner & very business like. I truly liked that, it truly set you apart from the others.

I truly enjoyed your courage to set yourself apart. Loved the show when you decided to play "Mr. Brightside" acoustically. How ingenious was that? That set the tone for the following week, to strip away the loud music and to truly focus on their voices.

My heart truly felt deep sadness when you did not get the gig, but I believe it was a "Blessing in Disguise". I truly believe that you will now be able to expressly yourself freely & make a mark for yourself. Of course, you have already done that, but now you will have a greater following for "Marty Casey" and not someone fronting a former successful band.

I cannot wait to hear your new album. You are truly a blessed & gifted individual and will go so far! I'm just so glad that I was able to see a little glimpse of your artistry & creativity.

When do you think you will come out w/ your next album? I bet Jordis will be a featered artist on it. Are you planning to stay and work w/ the Lovehammers?

I too thank you Marty for making this summer a magical one. You also had me at Take Me Out. You are such a class act and incredible performer. Love your soft voice as well as your wild moments. A mature individual with a mischievous streak... doesn't get any better than that! Thank for getting me to love music again! Can't stop listening to your songs. And cannot wait to see you in concert!

Virginia,I just want to say what a blessing it is to see a true fan,like myself. How lucky you were to see him perform. But...anyway it is so refreshing to see a true fan express herself like a human,rather than a sex hungry teenager. I am glad you did not say you were hot for him,wanted to marry him,that he has a hot bod and all those other things. True,he is a very hot looking musician,but thanks for keeping your hormones in check. I was so sad that he did not win,but I think in the end,he may have come out the bigger winner than JD. I personally did not like JD,but he did Pretty Vegas so well and he is a good singer. Marty needs to be true to his kind of music and be himself,not try to be a clone for Michael Hutchence. Bottom line,Marty was the best singer and performer out of all the other competitors,but I know he had to "tone it down" a bit for INXS. Marty will go farther in life,BECAUSE of being on the show and not winning. ROCK ON MARTY!

Hi Gals,

Thanks for your replies. It was truly the best. I was lucky to have even gotten an autograph to tell you the truth.

I tried once & the security guard told me no autographs...and then I tried to get Marty's attention. He was actually behind the rocker's area getting touched up etc. I then looked over to him...which was like 25ft from me...and asked if I could get his autograph and showed my paper & pen. He said he couldn't.....but I kind of pleaded...so he slowly walked over to the rockers seating area.

I threw my paper & pen at the edge of the seating area and he quickly grabbed it. The security guard told him he wasn't allowed to.....but he kind of gave a look....but it's a fan....and quickly signed it...and I grabbed the piece of paper.

I told him...I love ya Marty....
BUT...he never looked back.... =(

But...I did get his autograph!!!!!!!!

so that's my story....

He's such a superbe artist.....he's gonna go far!
Can't wait to see him perform w. his band!!!!!!!!!
