So, does anyone have the scoop on where this name comes from? It does suit him, and I love ripe juicey peaches, the juice running do... oops, not the 18+ category, sorry. ;D
Yeah, so where's that come from anyway?

It comes from his beautiful skin. That sweet peaches 'n cream complexion. I read that elsewhere, can't remember where. I believe it was on RXINXS boards.
That along with KoolAid says it all.

"Peaches" and "Kool-Aid" started back in July on the TWoP boards. Peach was a phrase coined by a witty member trying to imagine the taste of Marty's pale skin. Peaches....oh so nice!

Haha...you had me going though. ;D Maybe you should finish that thought over in the 18+ forum. Loved his "peachy" look. That was one of the first things I noticed about him, how flawless his complexion was.

This board is going to see a huge diversity of folks. There are posters that are gathering from various boards: MSN, TWoP, Snark, RockBand, and others. I've posted on all except MSN and can keep these folks updated on the "slang" used! All the stuff you see like Mr. MartyPants, Mr. PeachyPants, Kool-Aid, mmmMarty, Mah-tee, etc. All derived from the original board TWoP and then when it closed the posters migrated to places like RockBand and Snark. We were originally just one extremely large group. Examples: PPoD = Dave Navarro; Petite Prince of Darkness OP:Dave = Our Producer, David Goffin (He lurked on TWoP) OI:U = Our Intern: Underpaid (OP:Dave had an "employee" keep an eye on our threads! He'd then give shout-outs at the tapings to our references) Actually (ding!): derived from an episode of America's Next Top Model where the models kept saying "actually," in interviews and the show's editors added a little counter at the bottom of the screen that went "ding!" every time the models said it again. Seriously (monkey): purportedly derived from a skirmish between some Buffy TWOP fans who bought a banner ad protesting the death of a certain character. A group of rival/apathetic fans then bought an ad saying, "The character is dead. Get over it. Seriously." The ad had a monkey wearing glasses in it. Thus, seriously (monkey) with the subtext of "get over it." JD is sometimes called an asshat (not sure why, exactly, but I guess his antics). Because his early reactions bordered on the unstable in the eyes of some, we also use the word "batshit" to refer to him, though he seems plenty sane these days. Various permutations of "Human Being" are used to refer to him as well because he has two big tattoos, "Being" and "Human," which he can mix and match for each outfit. Brooke Burke is known as Bwak Bwak, probably because of how she said her name at the start of the show. I'll think of more later!

You should start a glossary / faq on stuff like this for all the n00bs LOL

Thanks for the explanation. I think I've missed some of the more subtle stuff. Thanks again!

The "asshat" nickname for JD comes from the brown hat he always wore...hence calling him asshat.. He has also been called "asscake" after the now infamous mansion show birthday celebration....

Wow, this is pretty interesting. If this trend towards a RS:INXS derivative of English continues, a linguist could make a dissertation out of this sh.....ur, stuff.
