Yes, I think his performance of "Creep" may be the peak performance of the entire show. Just look at the crowd's reaction while he's hitting those "ruuuunnnnn" parts. It's like their team just won the Super Bowl or the World Series!!!

Oh yes, totally agree that he should do a remake of Creep on his CD. Better yet, he should include a video of him singing Creep on that CD... the way he sang that on the RS show, now that's what I call raw emotion.

Thats a BIG YES!!!
Love the Marty version of 'creep'.
He should release it as a single it would really sell well, that is an old song now, don't quote me but I think Radiohead originally released that song in 1993 or 1994.
It needs to be back on the radio again with Marty singing it.
Helen.

I agree it would be great to add it to a CD. His version of Creep is one of my favorite downloads from MSN. I would think that it would be difficult for Marty recreate it exactly. He said something about it being the first time he was able to reach those notes/sounds(??) ..I would rather see him rest those one of a kind pipes for the tour and just add the Creep single from MSN as a bonus track.

The Most Intense Marty Performance! And the effect on your eyes is SO different when you have Marty instead of Thom Yorke's Lazy eye and mousy face staring at you....

YYYEEESSS! I love that song and have watched the video over and over and.... When he is shaking at the end, it is so powerful! I think it would go over on the radio right now, especially the way Marty does it. He doesn't just sing it, he DOES it.

Agree Brightside! Totally! That is for sure one of Marty's most powerful performances! He absolutely put everything he had into it which makes me love to watch that video.... there is an enormous amount if intensity which gives me goose bumps. He did DO Creep. Noone can do it better!

I also agree 100% this was my FAV performance. Everytime I hear this song, at the part where his voice gets really low to the RUN part, I get goosebumps all down my arms!!! Absolutely amazing! I listen to this song in the tanning bed after the light turns out and it is completely dark!

I imagine if Radiohead saw Marty's version, they were impressed with what he did with their song! I agree that it was his most powerful performance. The most amazing thing about it, was that it felt like he was looking right at you, pouring his heart and soul out. I would love to hear the full version of it on his cd, too. But then, he can sing any song and make it his.. make you love it.

This performance was great. It was/is like the big "O". Slow to start and the build up. One of my favorites.

what i loved about watching it was that you could see a flicker of doubt in Marty's eye's when he went for the high notes - it's the only time he breaks eye contact. Ah, marty, you can do it, man. record this song!

I love this song and listen to it all of the time anyway, but I found a new way to use it Friday. Someone at work was being a creep, and I was trying not to respond to it, so I put on my headphone, and listened to Creep with a new perspective, and it got me out of my mood! It did take multiple plays, but I love the song, so that was ok too!

Way to go brightside. Perspective is everything in life! I posted this in another thread too. I'd never heard Creep but loved the way Marty did it. I listened to Creep by Radiohead the other day and YUCK! Marty Casey is in a league of his own and I can't wait till the new LH CD comes out!

I agree! They are now playing Mr. Brightside more than they used to and when I hear it, I have to turn off the radio and turn on the CD player for Marty. He does them all BETTER!

I agree! I can't get this out of my mind. His version is WAY better than the original Radiohead one. None of the other covers I could find can hold a match to it either. The raw emotion in his performance sends chills. I think it was his best performance. IMO his version of Everlong is better, too.
