Oh, I dunno, I think Marty cares a great deal about how he looks ... everything he puts on is carefully chosen to distinguish him from the pack, without looking forced or phony. I am so glad he resisted Ellie Mae's attempts to dress him and wore his own clothes! He has a completely unique style, but I think that's by design, not by accident. All his clothes are cut just right, fit just right, send out just the right message. I always looked forward to what he wore from week to week, because no matter what he put on, it was perfect.
As far as a present goes, he said he's very cerebral ... "Cloud Atlas" by David Mitchell. And some cookies.

I would send him a plane ticket to Charlotte - I'd give him the extra bedroom, let him sleep, let him rest, and leave him alone for a week or two. I'm sure he needs it... of course he would be so grateful that he would give a free concert in my backyard for all the hammerheads in the area. ;D

wow, who would have thought that of all the threads in the Marty file, this is the one that would be revived!?! Maybe we should get his birthday (is it in September or something - fangirls, don't kill me for not knowing!) out of the way before Christmas. It's only 6 months away!  |

I would like to offer Marty a very long, relaxing full body massage. I think he really needs some work on that lower back that has to bend so far backwards . Those muscular arms that climb the walls. Those legs that go out running and all the muscles that must get tired with whatever it is he does to look so marvelous. And, of course, I will be the one giving the massage. It should not take longer than 10 hours. In an INXS video where
Marty gets a tattoo, at the end he gets a big smile and says "That felt good". I would like to see him say that in person.
