I had a very long dream last night where Marty was just hanging out with all our family and friends at some gathering....
I thought that was extremely odd until I realized he was there because he was engaged to my daughter....
LOL!
The thing is, Marty would fit right in with all of the people I know just like he'd always been here!

Oh Yeah... Marty would fit in nicely with anyone's family. There is absolutely nothing that I could think of that would make someone to not like Marty... unless that someone is J.D. Fortune...lol

This was a couple of nights ago:
I dreamed Marty was writing a song, he had four lines done in about five minutes, and the odd thing was he was sitting outdoors somewhere, crosslegged, facing a wall which he said worked great for him...
I think the song was about a mountain or an obstacle of some kind...(lol....perhaps it was the wall he was looking at!) but when I first woke I could've written the words down, they were simple and clear, Marty style....
In the dream, people kept coming up to him to talk to him, which was distracting him from his creativity and that really p'ed me off....
I offered my camp as a retreat and described it to him. But when I got to the part about "no running water" he said...'ah, no, I don't think that would work.'
Then I said, "Marty I didn't know you were such a city-boy" and he laughed really hard about that.
Then the damn phone rang and woke me up. I'm going to have to take paper and pen to bed from now on to write down Marty lyrics when I get them....
;D

and in a prophetic twist of fate: I just tuned into indiebandradio.com and heard Marty singing Sleeper, never having heard it before. Everyone should be requesting Lovehammers a lot on this site, as it will boost their overall popularity with those who have not heard LH.... and may I again say WOW Marty, where have you been all our lives? ?

I've only had a few dreams about him, which is surprising considering I'm obsessed with him, but the ones I've had have been AWESOME. I love Marty.

I have had a dream where I was at a concert and for whatever reason Marty spotted me in the crowd, and then found me after the show and asked me back, and we became really good friends.

Last night I dreampt my husband and I were at Ovens Auditorium before the show, hanging out by one of the back doors. Marty comes outside for a smoke break and we go up to him and talk for like 30 minutes, and I was coherent, not all mush-brained like I know I actually would be. It was a great conversation, like we all were old friends. Great dream - I think I will have to try going to Ovens early on show day to see if my dreams will come true!!!

Marty was staying at a beachfront hotel in Miami, and came outside on the 4th (-ish) floor balcony to sing for all the fans that had gathered below. He started singing an acoustic version of some tune I didn't recognize and then about 12 screaming women scaled the balconies in a wild stampede and totally attacked him. They were all wearing mc.org bracelets.
Ha.

Oh good Lord! I have to laugh at myself because I am such a dork... even in my dreams.
I was in Pasedena, California... no idea why I was there concidering that I live in Alabama and have NEVER been to Cail. But he was there to endorse some children's shoes and books. the shoes were really cool but the books were stupid and hard to read because EVERY word in the books started with a "W". While he was there he had to make up rhymes about people from this website. It had to be about something he had learned about us. He did not do everyone... mostly just the stonger personalities and stalker types that hang out here (LOL). After the endorsement thing was over he went to get in his car (which was FILTHY!). I stood there trying to get up the nerve to go talk to him while he listened to the radio and read a fan letter that may have been mine. Just as I had mustered up the courage to go jump in his car and I have a feeling the dream was about to get really good, my kid woke me up. SIGH!

I had another one. Too bad I woke up, it was fun..lol There was a sort of meet and greet but not after a concert. It was just an informal thing in a suite of rooms somewhere, similar to at a photography studio, where you'd wait for a "turn" to go in. (I think it was to keep the guys from getting mobbed.) Well, this couple had their daughter singing for Marty to impress him with their perfect child and just went on and on and wouldn't leave, Marty too gracious to end it, everyone else was rolling their eyes waiting, so Dan (?) brought out a bunch of pictures and childhood stuff from the Casey family and we were passing them around and sharing them. Awesome stuff there!!!! When I woke up I was amazed to remember some of the pics and memorabilia, all of it made up in my imagination.... or was it?

I've had two dreams involving Marty... one was when Rock star was still on. A heap of the housemates came into my work. I work at a Bowls Club, anyway i told Mig he had to win Rock star and be the new singer for INXS. And i told Marty he couldn't win, He couldn't win because he'd been with his band for 15 years and he shouldn't ruin a awesome thing.
Second dream was just weird, Marty and I were at a resturant and i don't know if were together, friends or whatever but we were holding hands and i thought his hands felt old. I guess cause i'm still in my teens, late teens and people would think the age difference is wrong if something was to happen with someone that much older then me. I can't think of any other reason cause just last year i was with a 31 year old so it's beyond me.

I had a dream last night that Marty and I were just hanging out but we were at some kind of seminar thing.. and the host asked us who our favorite band was.. so I jokingly turned to Marty and said Gee Marty.. who's your favorite band? And he was like " I don't know.. I'm gonna say.. the Lovehammers?" and I was like me.. too! And then the rest of the group got into a full conversation about the Lovehammers. It was kinda weird.. but very cool.

The only dream I have had about Marty was that he was walking in front of me and then turned around and told me that he loved me, with that stare. I interpreted this that the part of me that is so inspired by Marty is beckoning me to grow and be more open and full of life, just like Marty. I think he is a guru for those who love him.

It's been awhile, but I had another dream starring Marty, and was awakened in the middle by the alarm clock....drats...
Marty and the guys were opening for a school play or production at the little school where I used to work...
I heard them getting set up behind the curtains as I came into the gym and recognized the guitar line of one of the songs...so I sang out the words and they echoed into the vast space of the gym. Then Marty peeked through the curtains and said HEY! as if to say 'What are you doing, trying to steal our gig??' lol
So, umm, then he came out and was physically warming up by skidding himself across the floor and whamming his head into the wall and then just bouncing around on the floor with one of those big ball exercise things, you know, just exercising, loosening up, and I was trying to follow his lead and go along with him just for the fun of it.
I said, 'Geez Marty you oughta do an exercise music video for your fans. You could call it Sweatin to the Hammers...'
He laughed and I hugged him and crooked him under my arm...I am 5' 9" and I said, "this is so funny--do you know how tall your fans think you are? They think you're over 6' tall!" ;D
And he laughed and laughed because he'd been so clever to be able to mask the fact he was only about 5'6."
My gosh, it was a dream full of fun spiritedness, and he just soaked up all the info I knew about the fans and what they thought of the band's work.
What fun it was! But then I had to wake up, darn it.
