Trees! Heard it on the radio tonight!

And by Marty magic, I just happened to turn on my car radio at the very moment it was on.....

I didn't think it would be possible to improve the several ways we've heard it, but #1 is all over this version, and I mean with a BULLET!

AWESOME!! May I ask what area of the country are you located? The radio stations in Western PA and Eastern OH haven't played it yet. I've only heard "Pretty Vegas" twice on the radio.

I just hope the album/songs will be on stations ALL across the U.S. and not just a regional thing.

which I sort of missed (but not as much as I'd have thought had I been asked beforehand.)

I'll admit I was scared half to death that these original songs would be changed so much that we "purists" who've been singing along for months would be angry. This version of Trees only fills me with excruciating anticipation for the new CD.

I'm in Maine and I missed much of it as I had to call my friend on the cell phone and make him listen to it while trying not to go off the road and run into the pole in front of the state police barracks.....lol.....

I was screaming into my cell phone while driving...

LISTEN! It's Marty, OMG, I can't believe it! It's TREES...listen to this, I'm going to put the phone up close to the dashboard. Can you hear it?

I am so lucky I turned on my radio right then...

Now I want to hear it again, in a quiet dark room....sheesh..

Perhaps a quest for a download file. There must be one if it's released already right?

I think it was a Cumulus Broadcasting station. If so, I may be able to find out more tomorrow as I have a contact at the local one.

So exciting!! I will be watching this board (and listening to the radio) for news that other stations have begun to play Lovehammers .

Y'no....if you think about it....it makes sense.........they WANT to hit as wide an audience as they possibly can with their music..............and (trying not to make this offend anyone).....not everybody out there is into the screaming sound of LH that we all have come to see as a part of their music.........

And like I've stated before in another post......alot of us latched onto Marty and then LH from his performances on RS.......and we were ALL impressed with the way he stood still.....looked into the camera........and sang his *ss off.....without so much of the screaming..........god...WYWH is a perfect example........many many people think he sang it better than Waters for crying out loud..........and the way he made Britney look by totally improving her song....lol

I was eager for the cd before....but now....oh man.......I think this cd is going to blow away everyone and surpass all expectations............

But hey......didn't we all know it would happen.......??

I started. I emailed the local indie morning show its online www.indie1031.fm and will continue to do so until they play it or slap restraining order on me.
www.kiisfm.com is the major top 40 station in so cal and other markets requested there too and they stream online.
