hmmmm... I did a little up close and personal research this weekend and let me tell you, these eyes are as true as they get! They actually change colors depending on what he's wearing, if he's singing or just talking and what he's doing at the moment.

Marty's eyes this picture along with Interview on the home page where Marty opened up about him feeling so sad sometimes..........this is what he said..... "I'm kind of really so cerebral that I kind of get trapped in my head sometimes, and the clinic for me is about how I trap myself in my head and I go . . . my life cycles in highs and lows just like everybody else's, but mine are very sharp, and I'm really up and then I'm really down. But I don't let anybody know I'm down, it's just like a personal, lonely kind of dark place that I go. It's usually pretty sharp, and then I back up, but it's kind of like about that: about how I once get cycled, and I'm in my head and I start thinking, it's usually really . . . it's pretty dark for a while." This really touched me. I had a dream last night with Marty and he looked so sad I asked him what was wrong and he just looked up at me with the same look in his eye's (as in the picture) and he said his life is very tuff and some times its to much to handle that It's not always fun, and when he feels like that he needs hugs, and he said I kind of feel that way know, so I hugged him for about 5 minutes and he relaxed and said he really needed that, and that was all he needed to pick himself up to go on. When I woke up I thought about this and it mad me sad I worry for him he's got everything going for him, I don't know why he has a dark place. Well I just needed to post this.

They always look beautifully blue to me.

myob, a lot of artists have a "dark place" ... they often go very internal and solitary while they are creating. They can set very high standards for themselves, be very judgemental and hard on themselves, have an intense relationship with life. The highs and lows contribute to their being able to be fully expressed as artists.

Yes I have heard that too. It's like people will think they are so great and tell them that and they can be very successful but in there head they are thinking well that is what I expect of myself and nothing less and actually feel bad and want to be even better. Also some people just have those sharp ups and downs regardless of what is going on around them even if really good things are happening to them. I hear artists are like that and other people are too.

I'm glad to hear it's normal I guess being creative is very internal I used to paint and draw, I always felt a bit eccentric, I guess extremes tend to lead to new levels and goals in ones head. Thanx guys... The dream was just so real it spooked me. Just one more peak.
