Marty's eyes

Do you guys think Marty's eyes are really that blue? When I met him in MPLS they seemed very very blue to me like possibly colored contact lenses. Maybe I was just hallucinating who knows but just wondered what you guys/ladies thought about this.

i'm gonna go with, yes they are that blue.... but let's ask CIndy and Amy who have been up close, or Luxie who was even closer, or Jodie, who has been close on numerous occasions Anyone?

Let's see, let me think back a month - just from what I remember they were electrifying, mesmerizing, aquamarine, stunningly breathtaking green, grey, blue. And yes, they might very well be contacts, but when we're hypno-tized by Marty (hallucinanting) - we don't mind at all...

Oh, and you could see the "blue" way across the room. They also picked up the color in his jacket (my avatar) that he wore that night. So now that I think about it, they may even be hazel, I might have to do further research on this topic ..

As a contact wearer for over 20 years, I'm pretty good at spotting a fellow contact lens wearer.

I did have some doubts after meeting him in Highland because in all our pics, I had red eye and Marty didn't.

But, if you take a look at the kid pics of Marty on the Rockstarinxs page, he was a true blue eyed kid.

After a little research, I've decided that Marty's eyes are intense and beautiful and are absolutely real!



(But a little more research would be fine with me - I would love a few more up close and personal moments)

When it comes to Marty there is NOTHING FAKE about him. He is so real and true its almost spiritual. I so love him and all the love he represents.

I also think he wears contacts ... he has glasses on in at least one pic from RS (studio rehearsal shot). My contacts are tinted a very, very light turquoise, so that I can find them when I drop them in the bathroom sink! They don't change my eye color, but they do augment it a little bit.

If you could see the blue across the room they have to be enhanced with contact lenses. His eyes are probably blue and my eyes are blue but natural blue eyes don't stand out across a room. He probably just enhances the blue he naturally has to make them even more blue. Not that there is anything wrong with that. Hey us women wear makeup, color our hair and the list goes on. When Marty was a kid he had brown hair so he also lightens his hair. I think it's cool. I've seen pictures where he had just blond streaks and most of it was dark then one pic I saw it looked like he had really dark shorter hair and even dark eyebrows. I think he likes to change his look from time to time. Nothing wrong with that. Keeps it interesting. I like to change my look from time to time too.

Definitely! There's absolutely no reason why he shouldn't enhance his already great looks. The highlights were a brilliant move ... they look terrific on camera and on stage under the lights. And it's just a cool look all by itself. So is the "guyliner" ...

Marty is very smart, and he really knows how do create a unique image that is all his. He never looks gimmicky or overdone.

See in this one they seem blue but.....lol....oh that's Conan..




Here is one from Rockstar they are blue but not super intensely blue like I have seen in some pics and in person. Maybe it was the eyeliner though that made them look more blue. I'll have to get up real close next time and look into his eyes to check for sure. He won't think I'm too weird will he...lol.

I don't know ladies. My mom has blue eyes that are normally just plain ole' blue. But then, sometimes when she is in a great mood... exceptionally happy about something, they get really intense. It is an odd thing. Hubby has green eyes and his change with his mood or reflect what he is wearing so it is possible that Marty's eyes are the same. Just look how blue his eyes are in this pic and we know he is not wearing contacts at that age.

There's no doubt that he has beautiful blue eyes ... it's just whether or not he wears tinted contacts that enhance the blue ... there are all kinds of tricks (including dark eyeliner) that will make blue eyes look more intense.

OMG Donna! I saw that shirt online today and I'm going to get it this weekend and my favorite store Torrid. I sooo thought of Marty when I saw it. lol!

I don't know if they are blue or hazel
some times they are really blue and sometimes they almost seem brown either way i love those eyes.

Yeah it's really hard to tell for sure from pictures. My eyes are blue but sometimes they look brown depending on the lighting and flash that is used. The new digital cameras with flash make my eyes look really blue but a regular 35 mm camera they look brown unless I am in natural daylight.
