Marty's mom and Dad are down in South Carolina and walked in to my office today. We got to talking about Chicago because I live there before moving to South Carolina. One thing led to another and they told me who their son was. I told them I did watch the show but never went on the web sight, so here I am. I just wanted to say what wonderful people they are. I really enjoyed talking to them! What proud parents they are. Guess I thought that I would share that with his fans.

That is so cool! I knew Marty's parents had to be pretty awesome, just like their son! Where are you in SC? I'm in Rock Hill, 15 minutes from Charlotte. Hey, the Caseys can come stay with me anytime....I'll make them a real downhome Southern feast and take them out on the town!  ~o~ Angel ~o~ |

Ah, that's what I was thinking. It is just beautiful there, the entire area. I spent a short while there during filming of a movie and it was wonderful.

Thank you for coming over to the board and posting about your Casey encounter! It is always a pleasure to hear about these real life meetings. His family is wonderful.....and probably one of the main reasons he is the special guy that he is.

Don't know why they were there, I'm not asking you either because that's their business not mine. But my parents just "retired" in Pawleys Island, SC. Maybe their little visit will convince LH to play Charleston or HOB in North Myrtle! I can drop my twins at Gramma and Grampa's house and go rock out!! |

Wow, that is so cool. Yeah I agree that it is so sweet that they are so proud of their son, but what parent would not be!! He is truly special, and they are for having such a wonderful son!! Thank you for sharing your experience. Welcome to the site!

They are proud of him of course but I think they did a fantastic job of parenting all those children and their love and knowledge passed on to all their children. Now that you've come here I hope you take the time to listen to Marty and Lovehammers. Their fans are all ages and their music is timeless. I guess you can see how much we love them at this fan site.
