Holy cannoli, Wendy! One of my CBGB's buddies hanging out with MC ... way to go!!! For me, knowing it was you who bumped into Marty and spent some time with him is all the sweeter, because of the poignant observations you've shared on the boards ... that more fame for the guys is likely to mean less of a connection with the rest of us. So I'm especially thrilled that this happened for you!Funny, too ... for the past few days I've been thinking, "Right now, Marty is right 'down there' somewhere" (since I live a couple of hours north of NYC). Well, so he is! And last night he was hangin' with you! Life is so wonderfully funny sometimes  P.S. Say hi to Gineen and Ken for me ... if they're the same Gineen and Ken I think they are! |

Wendy  so glad you had your camera You know Gineen emailed me about this show a couple of weeks ago and I told her it was just too hard to get from CT into the city during the week (except of course for the cbgbs show).Dang it! I'm glad you had fun hanging with Gineen and Ken again. They are lots of fun. I will email her for details. I'd love if you'd send me the pictures  |

Wendyc122 Your truly lucky you had all the right intuitions and it paid off you lucky duck can't wait to see the pics. I was supposed to go to the city tomorrow and these plans were made two weeks ago and the other day when I heard Marty was going to be in the city I was so psyched hopping maybe I would have a Marty moment. Any way I have car trouble It's a long story but know The person I made plans with can't go. so I won't be even close to having a Marty moment.  |
