Charlotte Interview Part II

Everyone needs to go check out Part II of the interview! What an amazing interview by Cindy and Amy! Personally, I thought Marty had some surprising things to say! Once again, WAY TO GO CINDY AND AMY!!!

I sent a note to PPoD (Dave Navarro = Petite Prince of Darkness) on his blog to check out the interview. I wanted him to know Marty has nice things to say about him.

The interview was really interesting for many reasons ... mention of a solo record ... talking about the Doors (yeah!) ... Marty's instincts and intergrity (both musical and personal) are really incredible.

The solo album must have been the rabbit up his sleeve he was talking about another time. There might be more rabbits up there too though. ;D

Some women are just so bold. I can't imagine going up to someone you've never met and offering sex no matter who they were. As a woman it would totally freak me out if guys did that to me. Sounds like he wanted to get the message out there that he's not going to just sleep around like that so when women do try they won't be as shocked when he doesn't go along with it.

Yes rabbits indeed mchell, I agree with you....The label originally wanted to sign just Marty by himself...could this solo album be a compromise between Marty and Epic/Sony?

As always Amy and Cindy, you make this fangirl very happy, posting a new Marty "fix" just when I was beginning to start another withdrawal....Thanks for your great efforts, this is why I consider this website, my only Marty Casey Home!!!

From the Seriously Weird Department ... I just went over to Amazon to find a book. They usually have "recommendations" on your personal home page, based on what youy've bought or searched for in the past ... today, they recommended THREE DOORS ALBUMS.

That was very interesting reading Cindy and Amy! I'm thrilled about a solo project. I want to hear everything he ever does, see every second of him possible, read anything he writes. He's so awesome.

I hope the rest of the band is ok with these developments though.

Thanks for hearing the "call of distress" from YOUR fans Cindy & Amy! Part II was great. No mention of a Part III however, is that all there is to know about Mr. Casey?

And to Marty -- kid, in my opinion, you're the SMARTEST person I've encountered in a long time. From RS:INXS, to LH tour, to Marty Casey Solo, you should capitalize on every moment you've got! You've worked extremely hard for this moment, work it as long as you can!

Also -- I'm dying to know what he did with the Honda. I know it sounds really crazy, but I'm really curious because it was such a stupid "appease the sponsor" moment on reality TV that I always wondered if it was real. Did you ever ask him?

Amy (and Cindy) ... props to both of you for always maintaining such a high level of integrity on this board, and for putting Marty's welfare first ... I also appreciated your comments to him about "performance art" ... he really is an artist, in every sense of the word. Can't wait to hear/see the solo project!

Women have thrown themselves at rockstars since the beginning of rock music. It's too bad people can't respect them and have to throw themselves at them like that. Think about it realistically do you think if he slept with every woman that came along that he would be around for very long. It's dangerous these days. It will always be that way though. Women seem to love to throw themselves at rock stars. I am sure Marty knows that though and just wanted people to know he is not like that. I think that is what we love about him right? He has class.

Some women love to throw themselves at anyone who is famous: there are rockstar groupies, athlete groupies, politician groupies, actor groupies, rich men groupies ...

And yes, I agree with you mchell. Marty has class. And he never makes a false move. It's really pretty amazing. Or "phenomenal", as he would say.
