Paula Will Be Missed
We are all saddened by the loss of Paula earier this week. She was so good to the band over the years and helped us all immensely. She fed us, housed us wehn we had no place to sleep or got locked out, she listened to us when we wanted to talk things through, she helped set-up the Hammerhouse parties and would then hang out with us all night long and become friends with everyone at the party.
The band really appreciates all of the cards-flowers-thoughts & prayers that were sent her way over the past few weeks. Paula's face would light up when each new card or boquet arrived. She got one of her biggest smiles when we flew Mig Ayeas into Chicago to spend the afternoon with her. She was so happy to see him. She was acting like a teenager with a big crush! I want to thank Mig for taking an entire day out of his busy schedule to make Paula's dream come true.
We are scheduling dates for a spring tour as we speak. Everyone is excited about getting out on the road and playing EVERYWHERE. I think that once we get the tour rolling we are gonna stay out on the road for the rest of the year. We have so many places to hit and the only way to accomplish that is to go go non-stop.
I have written some killer new tunes and enjoyed my stay in NYC and a bit of time in Florida. Now we are off to Chicago and then LA. It's strange but I am getting so used to moving around all the time that I get freaked out when I have to sit still for a second. I like being extremely busy.
I got spring fever in my veins and can't wait to get to get on the road.
